This suits this song so well. What a fantastic way to start a Friday morning. Thinks guys. Hope there are more songs from this set coming. The most consistently good band in the world. Please come back to South Africa again. We miss you.

I know Tim said this song is about becoming a parent, but I feel like it also fits the context of a complicated romance quite well. Two people who seem to always be having problems, but are determined to get through it

Put my head phones on, vibed, and thought of my own daughter when she hits the dreaded teen years..man that sudden eruption of the rest of the band coming in at that first chorus actually made my eyes water. This is why rise against has been my favourite band for 11 years, you make me feel shit. Love you guys

I love how this song depicts a life long parent/child relationship. One which I am 8 years into and this song really hits the nail on the head. A love that is unbreakable where the parent can be hurt by the child but love them unconditionally none the less. While also acknowledging the parents own inadequacies. Summing them feelings up in just over 3 minutes is a tough task. Tim McIlrath is a true lyrical genius

This album is helping me through the worst Most painful breakup I have experienced in my life. Thank you guys for being a band.

I feel like Ghost Note Symphonies was made so Tim, the bands voice, could slowly heal his vocal cords, and the rest supported him, giving a deeper meaning to the entire album. Sometimes change is important. Sometimes we need time to heal. Maybe that was the point, maybe it wasn’t, I’m not sure, but it was really beautiful.
