Guys, you did it!!! After almost exactly 6 years this Video reached 100.000 views. For some people this might be nothing, but for me as a nameless guy from germany, who just covers some songs by his favorite Bands this is a big thing. So THANK YOU!
Me during intro: *stunned silence* Me during middle: *stunned silence* Me during ending: *stunned silence* Me after end: *stunned silence* .......... holy crap that was amazing
Sick cover man, I’m thinking of covering this next after I release Don Broco - Gumshield. Started working it out by ear the other night and the octaves alone are so fun to play!
i have a line 6 spider also how do i make it sound so clran like yours and can you put a link for the tabs because the tabs that are in desc theyre not the same
Hey! Awesome cover! How do you make your guitar sound so nice? I have a distortion pedal but it sounds static and grainy. I'm wanting to record some covers but the quality is terrible. Thank you :)
rockchick820 Thanks :) My Guitartone is not the best but here are some things which might help you: 1. The Audiointerface: when you want to record its important that you have a good audiointerface which records a good and clean tone (I use the Steinberg UR22) 2. The Distortion/Amp: When you use a Distortionpedal make sure that you don't put too much gain on it. There's a point where you can hear that it's the right distortion. just before there is too much distortion (not too clean and not too much gain.). I record straight through my amp and my gain is like on 11 O'clock. Also I set my mids on 11 O' clock and the trible (hights) on maximum. Just experiment a little bit with your amp and Distortionpedal to find a good sound. 3. Equilizer: When you record with a Software, you can edit a Equilizer to support your tone. That's a bit more complicated and I'm far from good with setting my Equilizer. Just watch some tutorials on RU-vid to learn something about that. I hope I could help you =)

When you want to play Punk Rock Style its not that hard, but here some tips to make your learning a bit more focused on the important things: 1. try to pick up the guitar everyday (even if its only 10 minutes). in the beginner months its really important to get your hand, wrist, fingers and muscles used to the feeling of playing guitar. 2. the most common techniques you'll need in punk rock are *powerchords, octaves, natural harmonics, pickslides, , deathnotes, palm muting and alternate picking*. just search for some tutorials on youtube to get you into the right way of using these techniques. 2.1. when you have problems with the techniques or songs just practice them slowly and get faster with time . you'll see that you can make some great progress with just learning them slowly 3. learn to read tabs and search for tabs online (ultimate guitar or songsterr). songsterr is really good for beginners because there is a playback wich you can follow! 4. watch other covers or tutorials to get some inspiration for your guitar playing. there are so many good chanels on youtube where you can see cool techniques or just right ways of playing a song. 5.. stay motiveted by playing what you like! espacially in the first year it can be hard to stay motivated with your playing. you might think that you barely make progress, but it will pay of when you stick to it. I thought about quitting guitar too when I was in my first year, but I stayed motivated by just covering my favourite songs. even if they're not sounding that great you'll see that you collect experience with every song you play. 6.. be confident its like a mountain you climb: first its hard to come up, but after some time it gets so much easer and thats where the guitar playing really starts! I know so many people who started playing guitar but werent confident about their playing. so they quitted playing after only a few months or weeks. but if you are confident a and have a goal you wanne reach, you'll play like me in no time. (if you want just check out my really early videos from 2011. in comparisson to now I sucked so hard, but you can see in my video-history how made progress with every month) 7. when you're into Rise Against and want to learn some of their songs I recommend Blood To Bleed, Audience Of One, Broken Mirrors or 401 Kill to start with. They're quite easy to learn and good to get you into the Style of playing Rise Against.
+Lucas Eastburn It looks like an Epiphone Les Paul Traditional Pro or a Standard PlusTop Pro. I can't make out what it says but it's one or the other. Both are great guitars, the Traditional will run you about $449 new and the Standard will run you $499 new. It just depends on how it feels to you. Definitely check both out if you can.
