Dr. John Snyder was first introduced to the writings of Robert Murray M'Cheyne (1813 - 1843) almost 30 years ago. He now describes the late Scottish minister as one of his greatest inspirations.
In this opening episode of the Behold Your God podcast, John Snyder and Matthew Robinson discuss M'Cheyne's pursuit of personal holiness and desire to see the face of God every day before he met with another person.

I agree with Bearded Baptist, (although I'm a petite Presbyterian), I was trying not to drip tears in my waffle batter. So I had to stop and listen twice. Thank you, Pastor Walker and MG. I look forward to this podcast every morning.

Why do I weep when I hear what is being said....?? "Hear my prayer O Lord... Give ear to my supplications... Answer me in your faithfulness, in Your righteousness. Where can a person get a copy of the Journal's of Robert Murray M'Cheyne? Are there reprints anywhere? I would love to read those.
