i think it was because dooku had mad respect for the lad and was great allies with him and possibly even friend(maybe not best friend because sith dont have friends)
@@donnacrozier6311 To be fair, Dooku was not incredibly close to the dark side as typical Sith would be. He used it, he invested himself into it, and he has done a lot of messed up stuff to get to where he was, but he saw it as more of a tool than a critical part of himself. One of the reasons Sidious no longer had use of Dooku aside from already grooming his replacement, was the fact that Dooku would not fully commit himself to the dark side which would result in Sidious viewing him as weak. As far as Sith go Dooku was probably the most chill and laid back, but that is mostly because he was a dark Jedi at best.
Almec is aligned with the Death Watch. Considering Jango pulverized them to the point that they were so scared they wouldn't come out of hiding until after his death, it makes sense Almec would try to discredit him.
I'm glad they retconned it in The Mandalorian S2. Not only did they name Jango as a foundling, but his mentor Jaster Mereel is even back to being canon as well. I hope we can delve in and learn more about the Mandalorian Civil Wars.
The moment I see Jango die again at the hands of Windu is the moment I die a little bit on the inside myself... His pride and rare flash of Mandalorian bravado exposed him and ultimately spelled his doom 😢 Regardless, absolutely excellent videos! Bring more with Boba!!!
Great Video, an awesome character to learn the history of. I will mention that in the section about the battle of Geonosis, you accidentally called Windu, Window. Then you at the very end said that Jango, (you meant Boba), was having a moment with his dead father’s helmet.
I think it's very strange in a way that one of the toughest choices Jango had to make was the decision to kill Zam Wesell, so that she would not give up his name. But in doing so, he gave Obi Wan Kenobi the critical piece of evidence he needed, that being the Kaminoan-manufactured saber dart, which led the Jedi to Kamino, to discover the clone army, and eventually culminated in the brawl in the stadium on Geonosis. So when you map it all out, the projectile that Jango killed Zam with ended up not protecting him from the Jedi by preventing her from revealing his name, but instead directly led to his death.
I've always dismissed Star Wars for the most part, usually in favor of sci-fi content I thought was better. Your videos are almost single handedly the reason for my piqued interest in Star Wars, I never thought it was so deep but wow! Totally giving this series of books/comics/shows/movies a shot. Absolutely love your content bro! 🙏🏻
Remember Nerdz, there's hero's and there's legends. Hero's get remembered but legends never die. Follow your heart MetaNerdz and you'll never go wrong. (T)
While watching this and part one. My kitten kept jumping on my keyboard pausing it, skipping forward going back, and even somehow managed to do alt f4 lol
This was awesome! The legends story is definitely more interesting than the current canon version. Why can’t Disney just accept that there ARE people out there who can -gasp- write a better story than them and just leave it alone?
"Jango is having one last silent moment with his father." Slight goof there as you meant to say Boba. Simple mistake though. Great videos. Really enjoying the COMPLETE Life Story videos
"In the first battle of Geonosis, which Jedi master decapitated Jango Fett's father?" a good trick question for a Star Wars quiz, becuase S W fans usualy already cry "WINDUUUUU" when they hear the word "decapit..."
Love this video. It pays true respects to Jango. Only oversight is that you called Boba, Jango, when he is holding his dads helmet in time stamp 32:19. Otherwise, thank you for your efforts. A toast to the hero, Jango!🍺
