Wasn’t that from warthunder. Like I know that in war thunder there was an event like this one with a mechanized KV 2. I don’t know it that also was in unturned but I think you got the games messed up
If only WT did the same... But i prefer levelling up in unlisted, because you just play like you want and get XP and some occasional requests. You dont pay for bad game or unlucky event, or because someone is just much better then you. And they want to add silver lions to enlisted. Bruh.
@@dudemp4 I found the controls to be a little clunky especially the movement but it’s the aesthetic that makes them so cool, something about a super tech tank mech in the Second World War stomping down the streets making ominous noises throwing tank rounds into second story windows really tickles my fancy haha!
I found the mech to be effective anti-infantry and bullying regular tanks at range. I advise you to use it more like a light vehicle than a tank, as any respectable tank player will still decimate your walker, as well as the usual wall rats with rockets launchers. Tanks should focus less on infantry and more on denying the enemy vehicles so your mechs can clear out infantry and do flanking. ALSO PRO-TIP: You have engineers on most squads, use them to build rally points as well as them sweet mg guns which can make the difference for the Allies with a 50 cal or for the Russians/Germans building an MG inside a hallway in a ruined building is a game changer. But most importantly: Have fun! Unless you want to complete some of your BP missions just play how you like.
by the thumbnail i thought it was war thunder, but it is much better than the war thunder mechs, just by looking at it, and i never tried those so maybe if enlisted is free to play i can have a chance to try ww2 tank mechs
Oh wow... That's freaking awesome. War thunder used to have a very similar event back then but instead of having more mechs on this year's event, there's only mobile infantry which basically consists of a bunch of juggernauts in exoskeletons equipped and armed with 12mm guns, 8mm guns, javelins, AA missiles, blah blah and m1A1 seps, M3A3 Brads, apaches, t80ubvms, bmp3s, and mi28s which is actually pretty cool nonetheless.
The cockpit view reminds me that one old tank mech game where you had to use like your own body to play it since a camera tracked you. I don't remember the name...
You also get custom squads on all maps with a huge variety of weapons, what is especially cool for new players who haven't yet leveled up that far in the Normandy and Battle of Stalingrad campaigns and want to test out these powerful weapons and if it's worth the grind. I'm just a little dissapointed that we didn't get some extrordenary tanks to test out, but instead the kinda average tanks like the Sherman and Panzer 3/4. It would have been cool if Gaijin would have allowed us to play tanks like the Tiger E, Panther, Sherman Firefly and KV1 or t34, what also feels like that these are the tanks in a different timeline which should be able to bring this mech-titans down.
It would be awesome if there was a world War 1 or 2 game that just happened to have mechs in place of tanks. Not making them a main feature but just as a part of the game. Imagine something like but with battlefield 1 like gameplay and in that setting and treat it as a battlefield 1 tank.
Is Gaijin trying to make a Command & Conquer game or something? They gave us Zone Troopers(heavy infantry with jumpjets) in War Thunder, and now this. No, I'm not complaining.
Quick tip: if you are on a German Mech and you encountered Soviet one, shoot the turret cheeks and turret ring. Soviet ingenious engineers placed ammorack right behind gunner and left turret cheek, so shoot there. Also, you can shoot rockets, hoping that volumetric fuckery will happen and rocket smh will damage the engine.
Against german mechs: Aim at down-angeled small piece of armor on turret (it is very weak by some reason). Also shooting in part of hull were leg is mounted work good. And dont forget to flank, only frontal armor is good.
I just realized that they got a different horn sounds that correspond on their names USA- Predator and its horn is the chittering sounds Predators make USSR Victor- just a loud horn Axis- TrX- T-Rex roar
