Hi, I was just wondering if this can still be done in the current MHR? I'm trying to imitate what you've been doing in the video, but I get animation locked during the counters. So I'm thinking it might be because of some changes Capcom added, but having confirmation would probably be ideal.
Been playing a ton of World lately, decided I want a portal MH on my switch so now I'm downloading Rise. Love seeing one of my main weapons in action here.
This fight is my most hated now. It just keeps swinging and swinging and blowing up the screen. Is it better to helm breaker shagaru instead of serene pose?
Not OP, but personally, it's a mix of getting used to the timing and when Shaggy starts to get up into the standing pose. At around 3:09, you can see him release ISS right after Shaggy raises. That's the queue I use for most counters.
Great run! Risen Shagaru Magala is my favorite fight in the game have you done this speedrun in special investigations? Have a set wit 3 heaven sent, 3 powder mantle, 3 frostcraft and 1 wind mantle and a talisman 5 dragonheart, 3 stun resistance and 2-2-2 slots. No mods 4-5 hrs and around 3000 tries.
Well, amazing video as always. But I'm confused about those qurios upgrades: are those 100% legit or you're using some kind of mod in order to obtain them? I mean, the helm itself is out of this world. Outstanding skills anyways, keep it up!
Thanks! I use a mod to obtain these. They are legal and in theory possible to get. You would be more likely to win the lottery tho. Most runners use these so everyone has the same conditions.
@@aaronjordan7729 yes and no, he's cheating to get the best equipment possible but the speedrun itself is not altered in any way. Grinding 10k hours to get every single item that you need is silly
@Erik Escobar You get to spend all the time on a speed run and no time grinding the gear for the speed runs. Great runs sure very good. But you get to spend hours practicing the run and no time to get the gear for the run. I don't respect it
@@aaronjordan7729 You really should not care my friend. All competitive speed runners use mods in monster hunter to even the playing field. Its important to look after your health as a gamer and these quality of life mods are a huge benefit to some people. You should only be concerned about people within the community using mods which alter stats. This is of course bad for multiplayer and for the community. For puplic multiplayer purposes however, I would agree that no mods should be used.
