I think this is the first time I've ever seen this song have a positive spin on it, and for some reason the hope and love I feel from how you chose to depict it is a lot more emotional? It genuinely felt so bittersweet, just a mom who loves her kid, even when her others have passed on. No clue what else happens in your story, so I imagine with context it'd be even more incredible.
