It's insane to see what roczen has gone through and to still be at the level he's at. If he didn't have those arm injuries he'd for sure be the fastest person alive
Oh man! I had a big crash on Friday 13th 2015 and lost my left leg... And this is heartbreaking to watch, this brings back bad memories. But I can tell you, it is worth the fight! Should I regret riding Motorcycles? No, it is the best thing in the World. Good luck on your journey. ☺️
Man, I have known people that have lost limbs, and they have some really cool prosthetics. Dudes with no legs and those cool springy prosthetics that whoop healthy people in a sprint.
Lum Lum Thanks modern Technology, Its not that bad anymore. My prosthetic leg is micro processor controlled and even has a Bluetooth connection for my IPhone. 😂😂 It has a lot of handy features like motorcycle mode, the most important one. 👍
I roczened my left arm and almost lost it! The drs said I would never ride a motorcycle again. I pushed myself so hard everyday and 3 weeks later, when I could finally pull my clutch in I rode my street bike to the dr! 2 months later I was back on my Dirtbike putting in motos! It’s all mental and u can never give up! I’m a big fan of roczen and appreciate his passion and dedication, especially after watching this video
Hey Red Bull Motorsports and Troy Adamitis, please make Episode 3 a couple of hours long because I could watch MX Nation all day! Seriously such great production quality and tremendous insight into the lives of what these guys do. KRoc and Blake are both such inspirations for their never give up approach and you did a great job telling the story.
Yep. Mind over matter, Thats why Blake savage is coming so far along. He saw firsthand when doctors said Ken would Never ride again. good stuff. Blake will be riding moto's by 2021. I'm gonna pray for him and hope many others do as well.
I know it was only 15 minutes, but life stood still watching this amazingly accurate display of real life! Kenny has been through HELL on earth and I personally know that situation all too well. For Kenny to come back like he has from injuries, has been nothing short of a miracle in it’s own right. To add being witness too Blake’s horrific crash and outcome, let’s me clearly know, Kenny is as strong as a human being can be. We are all being witness to a very rare and amazing young man surrounded by incredibly strong friends and family! May God bless you all.
#Roczenworldbest #bestofthebest #livinglegend ... That is what Ken is!!! Ken, pack sie dir!!!! Ich wünsche deinem Schwager gute Besserung und drücke euch ganz fest die Daumen, dass er wieder komplett gesund wird!!!
I knew I picked a winner. You are lucky to have Blake as your brother-in-law and vice versa. You both are fighters and an inspiration Prayer brother and miracles do happen, you're proof!
Breaks my heart. Not religious but if I were....god bless you man. Been at the track enough over the year to see this more than once unfortunately. Thankful that he has tremendous love and support around him.
This video was nice change of pace for a moto show! Kenny I can relate to the mixed emotions and questions about why this had to happen to someone we love. My brother was racing Arenacross back in 99, and blitz the whoops 2nd practice first lap, and his front end dove down in be
Great show, liked this one way better than the last hating on MX, I didn’t know about Blake so very insightful and wish him the best he has support and that’s the biggest challenge so props to the family and his friends by standing by him, many don’t, KR has always been one of the most mentally strongest riders imo in recent years, so respect to him for chasing his dreams and not being about the money, always believed at this level money takes care of itself if you get results and are a good to your fans. I have had a broken neck similar to Christopher Reeves injury (hangman’s fracture, c1/2/3) broken ribs multiple times, broken leg, broken arm 4 times, torn hamstrings, knee injuries still suffer from bone fragments in my neck and left knee, I still ride, why for the same reason as many and Ken, I loved bikes before I could walk and it’s never stopped. We know the game the risks the reward, it’s part of it even though we hate seeing bad things happen to others or ourselves it sucks, but anything in life has can deal these cards not just dirtbikes MX or SX, that’s life and we have to put that into perspective. Respect team Roczen keep on keeping on if anyone can win titles again after this it’s KR.
Ive fallowed MX and SX my entire life which is 47 yrs and I knew we had something special the first time i saw Kenny race. He is the best. First time meeting him in person was Toronto SX and will never forget.
It always impresses me to be at the track and see so many people that were disabled by riding motorcycles back at the track. It is a pain that cannot conquer the love of riding a dirtbike.
What an awesome video. All these Red Bull videos are incredible. I won't lie.... I wasn't really a Roczen fan, but after watching this video.... Hell yeah I'm a Roczen fan now. The dude is a beast, a champion, and a good guy. Wow.
Wow emotional isn't the word you really dont know how lucky you are. And it just goes to show that no matter what, always treat people with respect no matter what because you dont know what others are going through in life 🤙🏼
why almost all the riders at indoor and outdoor no longer wear the neck brace/protectors blows my mind. The HANS device has been mandatory in FIA events, INDY, and even NASCAR. If the guys are not getting sponsor money...put duck tape over the name and live to walk another day. 111 days until Anaheim 1...c'mon guys....wear that neck gear. Peace!
We all should be happy, that we are healthy!!! Ridinh motorcycles is very dangerous but still the best sport of my life. Stay motivated bro! You are your own hero if you think at you!!!
Putting Roger DeCoster in the series makes this series so much more interesting. He speaks with the experience and wisdom of having been there from the beginning.
He was also there with Donnie Hansen and David Bailey also too of the best riders and current National champions when they got life changing injuries in there prime, that said, anything in life has risk and danger we can’t run from hide or hate, only prepare.
If Roczen still wants to be the best in the world, he should compete in MXGP and beat Herlings. Maybe he didn't notice AMA is local series and long gone from being the championship, where the best riders are competing.
@@sterben4958 Money means the best riders? Oh, and thing again if you say AMA pay more than MXGP. Besides, MXGP has Herlings, Cairoli, Prado, Gajser. You can't call yourself the best if you can't beat them.
Kenny could've been for Supercross and Motocross what Conor Mcgregor was for MMA before the Anaheim crash. He is a one of a kind talent and even when he isn't 100 percent he is a threat to everyone who is 100 percent not named Eli Tomac, Antonio Cairoli and Jeffrey Herlings.
Great video, but (honestly) the background music just kills it, in places. Blake is a real, genuine superhero, to keep going, like that. I wish him all the very best, and that he is soon walking, then running, and finally riding again. Good luck, mate!👍🤞
Kenny Rock solid should be your name your a absolute champion as for Blake brother sometime our body's as humans are not as strong as our minds and passions and we have live with the scars that we do to ourselves you a a true winner mate keep strong never give up and as for ken he rides like the wind for you brother.
I just got in a bad crash a few weeks ago landed on my head, I had multiple people come up to me and tell me that they thought I broke my neck and my back. I was lucky enough to escape with a broken wrist and elbow and it was scary to come close to something that could have been way worse, I am on the road to recovery now and stories like Ken and Blake's are really inspiring and helping me through my process to get back on the bike 💪🙏
Amazing video thx for sharing, Ken is the man, much more respect for him now... Great an best of luck in up coming season lets get the red plate an then the #1 an maybe do it in outdoors following
finally Ken gets his first win after al those time and injuries in St Louis this weekend ..he looked awesome and checked out , i think he will win SX 2020 title
Soon 16 years since Honda actually win a championship in the outdoors, supercross 17 years. I would think they want to end this dry waiting. Sure Chad’s second place to RV in sx 2012 was close. Roczen can do it for them.
To the 50 who thumb down this video 🖕you and 🖕the horse you rode in on. It's better to live a full life than to have no life. Über liebe auf Ken und Familie! And thank you for being a role model and inspiration with your approach to life!
Blake looks like Ryan hughes when he was young....my mom was a rehab nurse for many years and she also said there is no limits you can heal miraculously at times you just never know.
It’s weird when you have a big crash hearing other people talk about there experiences really brings back memories still brings to my eyes thinking about it.

Thats crazy living in Vegas mesquite mx was the first track I road and learned on..... I destroyed my shoulder out there... sucks to see that happe. To him there..... I knew the track was known but wow I did know legends like you guys rocked that joint
The motorcycle is not a bastard machine. The motorcycle is a fantastic invention. Its the competition that ruins it. If you examine almost any activity, humans have to find a way to compete at it, so they can show they are better than others. A motocross race is very much like the old Roman activity of feeding a man to the lions. We love to watch it, but for the young men on the track, its a suicide mission. I saw the same problem in hang gliding, here was this beautiful, incredible invention that carries you through the sky, and yet people have to find a way to compete, and they make it dangerous and stupid, just so they can show they are better than others. If you just go out and ride a motorcycle, it can be a lot of fun and fairly safe. Race a bunch of morons around a track, and you'll likely wind up like Danny Magoo Chandler, paralyzed and later dead. Your choice, but don't blame it on the motorcycle.
9:35 is true!! Been mountain biking for long time! Parents were always stupid how this bike cost like whatever! It’s not going away someday I’m gonna pass it on to my kids! 10:31 is messed up to say that kinda stuff! I had a buddy got hurt bad!! He’s lucky walking today!!
Bro I broke my back and fireplaces was paralyzed for a year and a wheelchair that a walker yours looks a little bit tougher but you're doing all the right things never give up they told me the same thing they told you you will never walk again you cannot believe that bro I almost cut my arm off for months ago on top of everything else and I just got me a KX 250 you cannot stop the heart
Motocross is sport like no other. No matter what i have seen, motocross is the only thing that is in my heart and I am willing to do forever. When u see those guys and what they sacrifice and what is the price for some riders. Red bull keep up with the series. BEST Sport ever. Change my mind😅
I have a son that had a bad motorcycle accident Easter Sunday 2 years ago. the doctor gave him 4% chance of living and he Was in a coma for 6 weeks. Then got Back Terrell meningitis and beat that too.they say he would never walk and talk again but hes fighting talking and will not shut up lol hes only 25 years old now. everyday he wakes up with a smile on his face and says hes glad he woke up that morning so hes keeping the fight going
