After seeing Fulwiley play this year, I have to ask myself.... What ON EARTH was ESPN thinking in making her the #13 prospect? An argument can be made Juju Watkins should be #1 and Fulwiley #2, but I really can't see Fulwiley being any worse than #3... yet they had her at #13. Can anyone explain that (serious question)?
i mean, doesn’t that just speak to the amount of talented players there are? a big thing would also probably be fit. sc is a great program, and she fits into a perfect role where she can come off the bench and shine, but not take a huge load so that she can develop and get comfortable as a freshman. there are too many great players-it’s hard to predict how they’ll compare when transitioning to the college game. ntm there have been players like hidalgo or williams, who just by the eye-test look insane. but they may have supporting cast or role issues that hinder them early on.
JuJu is by FAR the number 1 freshman and has been the best player in all of college basketball this year. She's averaging 27, 7, 5, 2.4, and 1.4 on 47% from 3 and over 50% from 2 for a plus 60% true shooting percentage. She is also the best all around defensive player from this group, though hidalgo gets a few more steals and USC is undefeated. She's not only been the best freshman this year, she's been the best player in all of college basketball.
This aged extremely well..MF is like unbelievable…everyone keeps talking about numbers…take her numbers and divide them by minutes played and she’s best hands down…especially when you take into account her efficiency is better…first freshman ever to win SEC Tournament MVP…SC depends on her heavily for the spark she brings off the bench…several games this season she checked into the game and turned it around…she’s much more than a scorer and she makes logo 3’s too 😂
Welp! Ya mighta just got my fact checker pink slipped! 😂 Although I did see this online - Hannah was born on October 12, 1992, in San Angelo, Texas. But could be fake news - or the “other” Hannah Hidalgo.🤷🏽♀️
Yes, 2023 has more depth. Meaning there were MORE quality players and studs who can literally change the trajectory of programs, but Paige, Angel, Caitlin, and Cameron... that's some serious talent there too. But Juju is Cheryl Miller playing in 2023! Mikaylah Williams is Seimone Augustus on the Defending National Championship team... Milaysia Fulwiley is probably a modern day Pee Wee Johnson, except she's on a much better South Carolina team than Shannon Johnson ever was... 2023 has more girls who could probably go pro TODAY and get beat up on, but give them 2 yrs... they'll take over the WNBA and run son of those old broads off!
@@MASH2031 Good point, but you don't have to listen to sn entire song to know a person can sing! These freshmen are very talented. Paige easily won freshman of year, it'll be a tighter race with these freshmen.
Think the girl at lsu is better all around definitely not the girl you got at number 1 maybe 3 the ND girl is good but I guess everyone has there own all good
Idk, I guess in terms of pure scoring and rebounding juju has the edge. I like Fuwiley though, she’s a better passer, slasher, and defender than Juju. They play completely different styles of ball though. Juju also has a better chance to shine with the team she plays for
