Rising Storm 2 Vietnam - Christmas Event

This is a freaking cool idea, and the map is beautiful. They need to make this into a separate game or free standalone expansion for owners of RS2. I love the "Army Men" style games, takes me back to the 80's and playing with my little green army dudes in the backyard or the N64 game from the late 90's.

While the greens and blues fight each other the tans are running wild!

Sad that you cannot play as the most useful toy soldier: the minesweeper

We need a proper Army Men game. Large Scale indoor and outdoor warfare. Vehicles (air land and sea). Destruction, or at least physics for everything that ought to move. Shit loads of plastic gore. 64 players minimum. Green and Tan armies should be the main factions. Maybe with bigger player counts the Blues can join for a three way. Classes should be in, preferably the Old-school battlefield kinda classes. I'd buy that game and I think it would get unexpectedly popular.

Twas the night before Christmas, and all the thru the house, not a creature was stirring, except TheDevildogGamer laying waste to the blue team. Did anybody else have green,gray and yellow toy soldiers when they were kids?

This was a big nostalgia hit for me when my friend told me about it. Used to love playing Army Men RTS and the others on the PS2. Hope to see this develop into a standalone with more maps.

They need to make this a DLC

Take a look at Squad v12 and Project Reality 1.5 teamwork playlist to learn skills such as individual movement techniques, combat techniques of fire, individual fieldcraft, a close quarters combat(CQC) section by Vietnam veteran Mike Mah who describes his experiences, his units methods of staying alive in a fighting hole with a broken M-16 and Ka-bar at night. Apply what you can in game as needed for survival. Many more subjects. This will improve average persons skills and knowledge.

I was playing this for probably 4 hours straight last night with a couple of my buddies, sitting on the balcony hitting long shots is fun.

Dude I love this!! I cant playing it and I would love to see you play this event more before it go's away. It is fantastic and I would play this none stop if this was a real army man game.

I wish that there was a dedicated toy soldier game for consoles, kinda like this. They should add paratroopers, two more different teams. (Green & Tan against Blue & Grey) and maybe even an outside map.
