If you want to move to Australia with family or you're thinking you want to move to Australia from Europe, this video podcast will help you. Our guests James and Amy moved to Australia after deciding they had enough with living in the UK and tried moving to Australia on a working holiday visa in a bid to seek permanent residency. What is it like trying to move to Australia with no certainties about your future? How are they managing to navigate the process of securing a permanent visa, and what can you learn from their process? I guess we’ll find out. Watch our podcast to find out how to migrate to Australia and what it's like moving to Australia.

Great interview, so many things I can relate to after moving from the Midlands to Sydney and then Perth. We got PR before we arrived which made a huge difference. We miss the UK every day but life is good here.

My wife daughter and I are looking at moving to Perth. How bad is the housing situation if you are living 40-50 mins from the city?

In Australia we have a new Federal Budget in May each year. So any changes were only announced in the past 3 weeks or so. Some changes might be immediate, but most will start with the new financial year on 1 July this year, or the new calendar year on 1 January, 2025.

New South Wales coast has a more moderate climate. Goldilocks. Not too hot, not too dry, not too wet, not too humid, not too cold, not too windy.

Ross is there anyone else doing a podcast like yourself on the same topics or just moving over to Australia on a whole? I can’t get enough info into my brain before we make the move to Australia.

Good interview. Might be an idea to do an Episode on DAMA, as I understand that you can get approval beyond the age of 45 if you go down this route. Not very familiar with the setup myself, but I know that it's an alternative route in.

I think the rules for British passports holders just changed recently. Also for Hong Kongers. Time frames have been extended.

We would have to sacrifice giving up an amazing life in Brighton on the south coast of England. But our son and wife have now got Australian citizenship and want us to apply for an aged parent visa…. and live there on a BVA. This allows us to work/volunteer if we want to but there are problems buying property or transferring SIP and other pensions across.

Our (WA) rainy season has just started about a week ago. Before that we had three days of rain in four months. Christmas on the beach. Dry heat, NO humidity.

Mr. Johnston. After watching this video, as a Canadian Citizen I am planning to apply for an Australian Tourist visa (subclass 600) that allows you to stay in Australia for 12 months. During my stay, I can do a course that does not exceed the duration of 3 months. If I see any future for me beyond 12 months, I may approach an immigration lawyer in Australia.

lol. As of August it will only cost 50 cents per trip, on public transport, one way, for a six months trial. An incentive I think , for the upcoming Qld election.
