@@antartatina Because schizophrenia is caused by an excess of dopamine in the brain and the risperidone low the dopamine level. Better sleep, better mood, better quality of life and better relationships. But it happened in my case, other people I dont know
The doctor prescribe me the risperidone 2mg. It's the worst all the antipsychotic, my parents keeps me taking these. I keep sedating on the bed whenever I want to do some activities. I actually quit taking these antipsychotic meds in fact I have withdrawal symptoms from the apriparizone my parents won't convince!! Antipsychotic are horrorible drug ever exist
@@AnthonyKeladaMD In fact I'm coming off with that last year as I said unfortunately they were not convince so that why they want to take risperidone I feel so bad terribly on my body with these side effects including injection as well
you said there’s an injectable form for people that don’t think they are sick. what’s the difference for people that have a hard time trusting medication
People that have a hard time trusting a medication may need counseling/education to help convince them medication may help for their condition. Injections are used if someone does not want to take an oral medication daily or perhaps the court mandates them to get medication against their will, and a long acting option is easier to monitor as a nurse or pharmacist can administer it
Can risperidone stop consistent vivid dreams? I have vivid dreams every night since August and my psychiatrist told me risperidone helps stop vivid dreams and can get me back to mostly blank sleeps. She also said it doesn’t make you gain weight? But a lot of other people online are saying it makes you gain weight. Does it not or do gain you wait?
Personally this medication didn’t work for me I suffer from severe schizophrenia and haldol has done wonders for me and I also get a Abilify injection and that works great to
It may help with anxiety, but typically the side effects of this medication are too much so it’d be better to try an alternative for anxiety if possibly

@@hopefuldawn3380 medication causes serious weight gain over time. Withdrawal from this med is beyond hellish. Withdrawal causes extreme anxiety, depression, extreme dizziness, hypersensitivity to normal stimuli, severe migraines, pulsating sensations through body, extreme insomnia, resurfacing of trauma and more!! Dont take is my advice.
