This is hands down the best looking bike I've seen in this class, totally unexpected. I would love to give this some retro-futuristic customization. What an absolute beautiful frame to work with. Seriously tempting.
Yeah I was very impressed seeing them in person for the first time! I get to film another video with them so please let me know If there is a certain feature or topic you want me to cover in the next one
Definitely has more to do with the design of the bike :) Battery placement and design of the battery always seem like an afterthought on bikes like this.I love the way the battery is placed in the frame, and I love how the battery looks, it makes a huge difference, they really pay attention to form/aesthetics, this feeling I have now is reminiscent to how I felt when I first saw CAKE motorbikes@@chem.4919
@@RistrettoSquadra sounds good. great cinematography and grading too man..I have an Ariel rider x52 with a 60v battery and upgraded controller does about 42mph but I want one of these now..that bronze color is unmatched...
Thanks! The Bronzo is 1 of my favorites, but I ended up buying the Arctic A20. Is there any topic/feature you want me to include in one of the next videos?
They knocked it out of the park alright. Not so super 73 will go back to the minor leagues when this comes out as the gold standard and takes over the major leagues!
This bike is great. Beautiful design. Perfect amount of power, top speed and the price is more than fair. 3200 with the discount isnt bad. If it were 2700 it would be a no brainer, but at 3200 i think this may replace the Ariel Grizzly I have been looking at. Perfect top speed so that people can ride on 30mph streets without holding up traffic or being barreled down on. Great torque for hills and acceleration, and looks like it will do enough off road
Couldn't agree more! The new race mode is one of the fast bikes I’ve seen on the market. It’s not even comparable to the current bikes on the market. Wasn’t able to feature it in the video but it will be in the next video
@RistrettoSquadra I have a Segway x260, but I have been wanting something more like this, but without losing too much acceleration. This seems perfect. It's between this and the Async A1 Pro I think
@@vardanfitness7866 Hi Vardan, our social media links are in the video description. @Ristrettosquadra on Instagram, and Ristretto Sqaudra facebook group
You're aware of the 512 and leaning on the super73? It has to be looks as there is absolutely nothing else that the 73 has over the 512, apples and oranges. You're going to pay $3k+ for a bike that is still running on 4 year old tech, 48v battery, no range, 1/4 of the power at best, slow etc. Don't drink the 73 kool-aid, it's old news.
@@MarcoEnero nothing wrong with liking the looks of one bike over the other, glad you're getting an ebike since it's pure fun regardless which one you get. Happy riding.
To sum up my observations on there other video. At this price point should be a minimum 60v 35ah battery pack. My $4000 scooter comes with 72v 40ah . Both rotors should be minimum 200mm. Any ride Reaching 40mph should be at that 200mm mark at least. There extra 52v 30ah pack is a really high $1100 . Positives. 1- i love it does not use a motorcycle style light(i hate that style light). These look great. High torque mid drive is quite nice. Awesome handlebars keeping an e-bike look. The seat looks super uncomfortable(they are changing it though i believe) i would prefer this instead of my scooter but now my extra money is gone. The small battery pack would be a huge sacrifice for me though……I’m used to a big battery pack at that price point. Overall a hit and miss for me.. very interesting i must admit. Looking forward to user reviews
How much does the entire bike weigh with battery installed?? Thank you 🙏 such a beautiful design. Cyc is a bit noisy, but make incredible motors! And the mid drive ALWAYS wins in my book! Just wish it was full twist throttle instead of thumb throttle, ohwell… it’s near perfect 👍
This thing is beautiful. Im stuck between the Talaria xXx, Zooz UF1200 and this. All under $3300 with codes besides the xXx. This one is the most elegant, the xXx is the fastest and the UF1200 is lightest but also slowest of the 3. Its almost a no brainer with your code tbh.
@@RistrettoSquadra Honestly 40mph is pretty fast. Realistically I'd like to go 50-60mph but ofc I wouldn't always be hitting it but its reassuring to know you have that power. The design is so aesthetically pleasing. I also really love the master control panel too. Its the little details. So beautifully thought out and put together. Can't wait for the video!
@@vincetheveganprince "Its almost a no brainer with your code tbh." bro, you still here talking? Go order it already and come back and tell us which color you picked. Lets go!
I saw that sometimes the pedals were rotating as you walked the bike, but other times they were not. I guess its not a freewheel? Or is it related to whether the bike is switched on or off? I am getting close to ordering one and am wondering. Thanks in advance!
Nice bike! I love the design and CYC motor! At 5'11 and 295lbs, I am wondering how the seat comfort is, pedaling ergonomics, power, and range would be. Btw, is the battery UL rated, and what will parts availability be like once the company moves on to another model production...
Hey, thanks! The bike did a pretty impressive hill climb when i tried it. Top speed is around 40mph and it still went around 30-33mph up a steep hill. Unless your climbing an insane hill on low battery you won’t experience much drop in power. If you want I can also DM you a video of the hill climb on Instagram. Also, I haven’t tried the grizzly so can’t really speak on that
Top speed is 40mph on both bikes. In terms of speed though, the A20 has a tiny bit quicker acceleration due to the smaller wheel size and weight of the bike
Wish we knew how tall he was compared to the a20 that he was riding. I’m 5”11 so trying to figure out what would be the best fit between the a20 and a24 especially when there is no seat adjustment. 😅
Hey! I’m 6’0 tall. The A24 you may have a slight raise to your foot when stopped. The A20 will be flat foot. I’ll honestly say that I prefer the A24 as it feels great with the size The a20 would be better if you have other people like family that may ride it or want to stand when stopped
Hey! I'm 6'0 tall so both the A20 and A24 fit me nice. For reference, there is a standover height PDF in the bio. But to keep it short, the A20 is perfect for anyone around 5'3'-6'1 and the A24 is better for people around 5'10-6'6
Hi, I was looking at the dimensions and noticed that the “reach” is greater on the A24 which makes sense but the top tube length is the same on both models?
@@RistrettoSquadra apologies if i missed it in the video, but appreciate your reply. The torque off the line and how fast you get up to speed is just amazing. I imagine it's hard not to giggle every time you open up that throttle. Awesome review and production quality, cheers!
@@wrenboy2726 Yeah np. If you don't see the motor in the rear wheel but in the middle then it's a mid-drive it is usually on e-mtb since that's the better option for that riding style. Surron is an off-road dirt bike so a mid-drive motor makes sense. Hub motors are meant for street riding only.
That's like driving a Ford Mustang and saying it sounds harsh, well then I suggest driving a Toyota Prius or a bicycle that only has 350w and goes no faster than 15mph, then it will sound very soft and comforting for you ;)
@@ashegam This is the dumbest comment ever. You are basically implying that the beautiful sound of a V8 from a Mustang is to the sound of the electric motor on the Ristretto. Huge facepalm... wow.
@@Year_21 not much of a difference other than the dimensions. A20 has a tiny bit more torque when accelerating due to wheel size and weight. Feel free to reach out and I can go more into detail for you
This is my request as well. I'm a 5'10 rider so I feel like I could get away with either, but I'm seeking a comprehensive pro/con for each. Things like riding position, ease of pedaling, acceleration (which is answered), but does 24" have greater range at high speed (or higher top speed) due to larger wheels?
Hey! For the video I only got up to about 35 because it was in street mode. But off camera I got it up to about 42-43. The race mode is only for private property so I had to respect the rules
I was really sus on this bike. The motor is make or brake on these things. The CYC X1 Pro is a true and true amazingly performant motor though, so it’s definitely going to rip. Edit: “Make or brake” was a funny typo lol.
@@RistrettoSquadra Probably the best mid drive motor on the market IMO. I wasn’t expecting this bike to have something so nice. Hope you guys sell well and continue to grow.
Viewing few video of this ebike, seem to good to be true. Does it safe ,user rides this ebike in rainy day outdoor without electric shoot , exposure USB-C ports & handle control switches are safe from rain/water ? I love to one if it true safe n rainproof 😊
Online you can easily find small, rubber USB-C plugs for a complete seal on exposed ports for any device. I recommend if you like to keep everything minty fresh :)
@@chuthemofo Unfortunately the pandemic in 2020 effected worldwide manufacturing/distribution. Production has already began with the 512 and is currently on track 👍
@@jimjr9143 I thought that, then I saw they have a lever you can put on a twist throttle, I put one on, and love it, can keep hand on brake lever now. You know in case stupid pulls out in front of me.
I'm so sick of seeing pedals on these bikes, I understand the reason why they are there, I still think it's kinda silly. I'd love a variant of the 20 with chrome footpegs, (and maybe a brown leather seat lol)
I did contact once Ristretto and no one could help me with dimentions. I did explained there i no regulated saddle hight. You mut provide dimentions of the models. Only Dimentions I can see are here on youtube video blured. This was seriously annoing conversation. No one had clue about anything giving me only specs I can see my self online. Now I can clearly say that 24 model is just midgen to big for my short legs. But imagine this discovery when I purchesed bike. Shipped it to UK. Paid it all customs etc. to find BIKE IS TO BIG no chance to set it up.
