My dad was severly wounded at Pearl Harbor. He was one of the first sailors to come home. Ms. Hayworth came to the docs and took my dad to the Navel hospital in her car. He never forgot that. A true class act!
This almost made me want to cry seeing what society has become these days. My mother was born in 1918 father in 1925. So I watch these compilations and reminds me of a much better and simpler time, and of those that I love and have lost.
@@ssdestroyer5138 hey, I didn't have a whole lot of time to be a child myself due to going through the foster system. So I can relate to what you're saying. But I'd still take that over what I see going on these days. It's a disgrace and really makes me sick to be honest. And yeah, adult life is definitely not all that great. Especially with inflation and everything going on these days. But I take what I had over this. I feel bad for the children of today. They have no heroes. No one to really look up to.
@@agoodpitch9 I couldn't agree more. Especially western society. But now everyone has become so over indulgent and self absorbed that it's weakened them and turned them into a bunch of constant cry babies. Instead of trying to enjoy life all they do is complain and point fingers at everyone and try and place blame.... We didn't do that when I was younger. At least not on the scale that I see happening today.
The most beautiful lady in history. I think shes the reason i cant find anyone to be with. Im looking for a lady like she was. Beautiful, and glamerous
@@droberts1664 sorry to say that, THAT ship had sailed on a one way trip almost a century ago. A high quality lady like Rita CANNOT be found in this century 🥺
@@donaldleroy6502 High quality lady? Maybe on screen, but she was divorced 5 times and had countless affairs on her husbands. Be glad you didn't marry her. She had an abusive childhood that poisoned her view of men and made relationships doomed to fail, at the fault of both she and her lovers.
Although I hadn't even seen Rita's face for the first time until I was nearly forty years old, I was absolutely amazed. I felt just like a schoolboy seeing the prettiest girl for the first time. I STILL feel that way
SHE WAS TRULY MAGNIFICENT! HER SENSUOUS DANCING, THOSE LUSCIOUS BROAD SHOULDERS , LUSCIOUS ,GRACEFUL ,EXPRESSIVE , ARMS, AND THAT INIMITABLE SMILE! SHE WAS DEFINITELY , ONE OF THE WORLDS MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMEN OF ALL TIME! I ADORED HER
Rita could do any kind of dance and make it a masterpiece. She had the most charisma of all the female dancers no matter whether she had dancing partners or not......she had that special magic that lit up the screen every time, always so beautiful.
Before my time being born in the 70's, but she definitely would have stopped my heart on the street had I met her in person. This is where society should have stopped. This is when we had class regardless of the petty political sqabbles.
That. Title. Fits Her like a 🎯 No1 Even 2 this Day can Compare 2 Her Singing Dancing n Beauty Oh n her Fantastic Acting N Charm🍀 She was n Always will be “More than A Million” 💖🥰💋
Not many know that Rita Hayworth was Latina/Irish. Her given name was Margarita Carmen Cansino, her father was from Castilleja de la Cuesta, Spain and her mother Volga Hayworth was American-Irish. To me Latina women are the most beautiful in the world. Rita certainly proves this out.
Spaniards aren’t really Latinos. Latino people are descendants of Spaniards and native Americans with some African, a combination of all that. But, if she wanted to identify as Latina, she’s more than welcome to do so. We’ll take her 🥰
@@frankiehernandez3276 Give me a break. It's pretty darn close. And she grew up in Brooklyn which is loaded with Latinas. So even if her father was a Spaniard, she is Latina.
@@frankiehernandez3276 Spanish people ARE Latinos. What you're describing are Mestizos and Mulatos. My God, the ignorance of people here is astounding.
Simplesmente esplêndido, captando Rita no período que melhor traduziu a sua estonteante beleza! E a canção escolhida torna tudo mais empolgante... Parabéns pelo trabalho!!!
