Rita Hayworth - Champagne Safari (ending) 

Watching Rita goofing around, I remembered what Hermes Pan said about her: "...she reminded of a little girl. She would giggle or she would do little things that little girls do. People would think of her as the glamorous Love Goddess, and yet she was just a little eight year old girl...".

Rita was so natural...love the way she talked! Such a sophisticated and beautiful voice. To me she sounds so calming.

Omg - this is such a profound revelation for me - after reading about this film for 20 years. I would love to see more. It's a documentary way ahead of it's time - with the different voices. And Rita looks amazing! Please more!

Thank you so much for posting this!!!! Jackson Leighter was my great uncle and I've never had the opportunity to see his film. It is sooo nice to see him and aunt Lola here with Rita. The distribution of it caused a lot of problems later, but I'm glad it was saved. When they got back to the US, they stayed at the home of Drew Pearson for a while before moving onto Reno where Rita was reunited with her daughters. If you (anyone) has more, can you please send to me???

@Fratelliyo No, we didn't talk about Rita, at least not with me. But then I was only 12 when he passed away and didn't think of those things then. I'm a singer and at the time was studying with the Corradetti at the San Francisco Opera Company and the San Francisco Boys Choir - and he took an interest in my singing - so when we visited him he usually asked me to sing something and we didn't chat much. But he did talk to my father a lot about his last project - a movie about Albert ....
