Lança Perfume (parfum sprayer) was a nickname for a type of drug in the 60, 70s, very popular mostly during the carnival, but also on disco clubs, and of it course it was illegal. So many of the sound effects, synths, and even the two key changes during the song are emulating some of the lisergic feelings, the trip from it, which in the song is compared to the trip you get from sex. In the end the horns section quotes a Carnival song. When this song was released, Brazil was under a military dicatorship, the fall ot it, but still Rita had to be subtle to fool the military pricks. Rita Lee, what a woman, she could be provocative even pretending to be pop and childish. More trivia: the piano groove was based, or actually stolen, from Doobie Brothers - What A Fool Believes, which was confirmed by Rita and the record producer Lincoln Olivetti.
