Hey Vinny lucky you and thanks for the upload. @ 71 years old Blackmore still has it.Lead singer unknown until now very much like the guys from Elf. WAY BACK WHEN!
Thanks for the upload. Ritchie looks a little slower on the moves, but so would I be at 70+. Can still see his edgy persona there though. I simply cannot wait for Birmingham next week.32 years since I last saw a Rainbow show.
My boy rockin out again! Didn't think I would ever see it. Seen them with Dio, Bonnet and JLT. Cozy ,Ronnie and Jimmy are smiling down I do believe. Great video.
Hello Vincent and first of all thank you so much for uploading the videos from yesterday's concert. I can imagine how it must have been to see the concert live ! You're a lucky man ! Cheers !
That's great ! Highway Star is one of the best rock songs of all times ! And Ronnie Romero's version is really great ! Ritchie was right, this guy is fantastic !
Are you honestly saying he's as good/better than the late maestro Jon Lord. If you are then I think you should get your ears tested because you're obviously going deaf.
I don't get all the criticism towards master Ritchie. I mean look at the Gillan for instance, he cannot sing anymore, really and everyone's cool with that. And about the band, Ritchie has always hired not so widely known musicians. Most of them had become Stars afterwards. 20 years of not playing rock'n'roll and Ritchie's own age has taken its toll. It's true. But still they sound solid and amazing. Look! We must be over the Rainbow... rainbow... rainbow...
At 6:50 and just prior to the solo the vocalist shouts 'Mr Ritchie Blackmore' - Ritchie hates that. Dougie White did the same, only once, in the 90s and afterwards Ritchie took him to one side and said 'Don't ever introduce me, people know who I am. Do it again and you're out' A bad omen indeed
Very poor sound quality but that's to be expected from a phone I suppose. I think Ritchie has shown he still has magic left in his 71 year old, slightly arthritic, fingers 😊
Is this the support band wandering on stage and looking lost? Oh, no - it's a Rainbow tribute pub band - who's on the guitar - actually looks like Ritchie... wait a minute....! Oh shit I just wasted a load of money...
Maybe they should have bought an extra ticket just for you. I would expect compensation from them for your displeasure. Sorry, Sir! Let this be fair warning to everyone to keep their mouth shut ....whenever they are out enjoying something special, and they didn't think of the needs thousands of youtube viewers that have to watch their video for free that has too much talking. How dare they!
So he kicked out Graham Bonnet because he wouldn't let his hair grow and then he hires this guy!? Who the hell is that singer, seriosuly? I didn't get a ticket just because of the choice in the singer. Of all the vocal gods that would kill to play with Ritchie he goes ahead and gets this guy?
A Mediocore cover band mostly Blackmores Night with all unkowns.. an insult to drummers, Cozy Powell , Bobby Rondinelli and Dio and JLT. These songs drag, no emotion, the electricity is far gone. Ritchie did this only for a paycheck. Those that think this is good have obviously not seen the shows in the 70/80s w Dio, JLT concerts, this is a joke
Bassist is no Roger Glover, but he does have a nice Fender Jazz ( reminds me of Mel Schacher's bass:GFR 70's era ). The purple pants must go!! Sound sucks bad!
The singer looks & sounds like a performer from America's Got Talent or the Voice. Totally lame. Why doesn't Ritchie just bury the hatchet with his former DP band mates & rejoin them in a reunion? Pretty soon the time will be forever gone for this opportunity. Jon Lord is already dead, who's next?
Disappointing sound. The vocalist is dismally poor. Thanks for the video but I'm past Ritchie now. He was a good technician but has always lacked imagination.
Love ritchie but,, man hes playing his guitar and solos like a mandolin ,, cmon man he used some of the same licks in that solo as he did playing in his wifes band,,,, not impressed, and next time quit singing badly over the video for gods sake, horrible tinny sound also
Try playing heavy metal at 71 hmmm ? At 71 most grand parents are nursing their grand kids or great grand kids. Absolutely nothing wrong with this picture or sound here............
age has nothing to do with it as u can see hes not running around at all hes just standing ther playing guitar , plz i have relatives late 60's who play rock n roll,, i just dont really like the way he changed the solo. and i really dont care if u argee or not
