Someone besides me loves Slaves and Masters! I have never been able to explain it but I've loved Joe Lynn on most everything he has ever done.

There's some excellent tunes. Some of it was a bit too self-indulgent IMO (Breakfast In Bed... really?) but quite solid. EDIT: Breakfast In Bed not Bed In Bed... lol

I feel it was one of the greatest albums they ever made. JLT was their best vocalist in my opinion. And I feel he was tailor made for Foreigner which made him an offer but he didn’t take it. He would have been there for life had he chose them.

Slaves and masters was an excellent album. I cannot believe it is 34 years old !

Slaves and Masters was too Pop for my liking but Ritchie Blackmore's playing was stunning. He really seemed inspired. It was better than House of the Blue Light imo. Better song writing and production. JLT gets hammered by the Dio fanatics but the albums he did in Rainbow we're solid too

I agree so much with what you said. I have said this for years. Back in black was legend also. But not with Bon ofcourse. So I guess Strangers is because all the originals are there.
