The judges would rather call a weak jab to the body rather than a clean, hard sidekick (which Jack folded Ritchie over with in the first 30 seconds, and hit and scored with at least 5 more times). Brutal to watch. Jack won this hands down
I love this sport. I call it sport karate. In my opinion sport karate fighters are the fastest fighters on the planet. Its all about being first. Sometimes being first doesn't do shit for you in a real fight. Sometimes it does....
I used to compete in martial arts tournaments 30 years plus ago under Lau Gar and then Phoenix martial arts..I can't believe it still looks exact the same as it was then ,its tag fighting, nobody using high kicks cos they aint fit enough, no creativity, no combos...boring too watch but fun to be a part of.
carnt believe this is a grand championship fight at the top tournament, the standard as dropped since the days of nasty anderson and alfie lewis. really poor.
Jack won that fight, the center judge was being a morron, when he seea this video he is going to realize all the bad calls he did, both great fighters but Jack won!
