The moment I realized I was hearing Dragonroost island I got hit so hard with nostalgia. I wanted to spend all my time in the rito village

I cried hearing this after the Wind Temple in Tears of the Kingdom.

Everything about the rito is perfect, the clothing you get in the store, the music, the fantasy feel of the village, you try and tell me you wouldn’t live here

Almost cried when I heard this song for the first time. Wind waker is my favourite Zelda game and hell yeah the nostalgia hits hard. Nintendo will always find a way to bring back classic memories…

Playing through BOTW for my first time and I just beat Vah Medoh last night, the whole Rito section of this game has been one of my favorite parts and when I noticed the Dragon Roost Island theme in this, I had the biggest smile on my face lol

I honestly like how they added elements of the Dragon Roost Island theme.

I literally just arrived at Rito Village in my Master Mode playthrough just a few *minutes* ago and I went to go do schoolwork and pulled up some music to listen to and this appeared in my recommended. How does it know.

I never played any other Zelda game, so I never expected the Rito to be literally the sleepiest village I've ever seen

My first Zelda game is BotW and I love how the strings swell and fade. Almost like the wind.

The rito might not be the strongest race in Hyrule, but their music is obviously the best among everyone.

I’m pretty sure the people who hate this game wanted to hate it. If they go out of their way they’d find an amazing game, but if you just go straight to the destination you’re defeating the purpose

i rarely play with headphones on, simply because the switch's audio is fine without headphones, but listening to this with headphones on is just pure heaven times ten

The Rito being my favorite species in the zelda lore and the fact that Dragonroost island's theme is playing made this my favorite place in the entire game.

I first played Breath of the Wild back in October 2017, months after its initial release. Beat the game and loved it, but I sort of put the Switch aside for a long time after that. Then when the pandemic hit in March 2020, I decided to bring out the Switch again and replayed this game. I now have over 300+ hours in this game. I never appreciated how relaxing and beautiful everything is, from the environment to the NPC dialogues, and of course the music. This game has been so relaxing to play and it helped to keep me calm whenever I get really stressed out. I'll never forget it and the memories it provided me with. I learned some of my favorite songs from this game on my piano and have spent countless hours playing them. I think this game will forever live in my heart and be a part of me.

This sounds like it's from a Ghibli movie soundtrack. Absolutely incredible.

I know I'm late to the party with this one, but I have been looking for this version of this song for too long. The soundtrack version has bird chirps added in and I can't stand it cause it takes away from the song and its the only version anyone wants to upload. This one here is the version that plays in the background in game. THANK YOU! You literally saved me the headache of having to figure out how to record it off the switch somehow.

Only got BOTW a few weeks ago because of lockdown and being a oldschool Zelda fan. Upon realising this tune existed i made it my mission to get to Rito Village ASAP just to hear this tune (i still have not done ONE divine beast yet) This theme is absolutely gorgeous. Makes me just wanna sit back and stare at the clouds and brings back such nostalgia of Wind Waker. This one of of several things that make Zelda games so special.

I was in Rito Village, buying a few items on a sunny day, and walking by, I happened to stop, and look out over the area, and remained there to relax, and enjoy the music. I too, loved and played Wind Waker. I hate to say, that I didn't pick up on the connection between this, and Dragon Roost island. (Favorite music in that game, btw.) It was some time ago, and I didn't ever consider what Dragon Roost sounded like slowed down. The thought had never occurred, and it wasn't until someone mentioned it in the comments section of a video, did I realize it. Almost ashamed to say that. Mostly cause I wanted to know what it was like, and I just didn't know.

ive been playing zelda games since i was young and somehow never made the connection between this theme and the dragon roost island theme from wind waker, the nostalgia is incredible :,)

BotW's depiction of the Rito is a thousandfold better than Wind Waker, and you can't change my mind. I love what they did with this race so, so much!

I've played this game since it came out and I never beat Ganon. Because I always explore and listen to the beautiful soundtrack. And sometimes I ragdoll off cliffs lol

Can we talk about how natural this theme in particular would sound in a Ghibli film? Most of BOTW would make a great Ghibli movie but, whenever I was in Rito village there was always that warm Miyazaki charm to it. Similar thing in Kakariko but the music in Rito is, in my opinion, better.
