These videos are all incredibly useful for someone picking up the archetype for the first time. Thanks for making them. Are there are Nib-resistant combos that can consistently put up a FIRE-locking Protos? Would love to be able to cook some Tenpai players.
@@Chu627 Can you still end on Ulti-Rei if you do that? I'm struggling to have enough bodies without the Cross-Sheep revive or the Banshee revive off S:P. I'm willing to use the Protos as Link material for the Ulti-Rei. (I'm asking about combos with or without Shifter, by the way.)
@@zzxxqq All opening hands consisting of Elder/SBTL + Canna/Pengu can end on a full Anti-Nibiru combo with a Protos lock of any attribute If you're using SP to banish IFB when uninterrupted then you should be doing something wrong. Protos is always able to banish the IFB if sequenced correctly. Cross-Sheep's revival is used as an extender for non-shifter Anti Nibiru combos with SBTL + Canna/Pengu. Without the extra body you can always just do the same combo as the shifter lines by linking off Apelio for Ulti-Reiratuari and add back an extra omni negate instead of searching steeds
Making big combos under shifter is always risky as it is hand dependent. In my experience under Shifter, I find it better to have a back-up play to those hand traps than hope that your one and only play would go through.
If we draw winda/apelio, then the most resource efficient play is to use our second search on Elder and double normal summon with Ulti-Kimunfalcos. In general, there are hundreds of 3+ card combos that do the exact same thing. Also, what changes would you make in this guide if it was for MD with Apo legal? I just started learning the deck and it is pretty overwhelming but also fun to learn.
@@3b0d1999 By any hand I quite literally mean any combination of ritual beast cards. For example Elder + Apelio + Pettle can replicate the Ulti-Nochiudrago Choke Point and play through Shifter + Nibiru if we have Ulti-Gaiapelio fodder. Any hand can setup an Anti-Nibiru combo under shifter as long as we can get to the Ulti-Nochiudrago Choke Point. So Elder + Cannahawk can also do this if we search SBTL + Wen.
@@Chu627 Same, if I start with Elder + Canna and I canna search for one of the names, then I won't have the other name to be able to normal summon again before I get nibbed on 5th summon. Example Line: Ns Elder, Ns Canna, Fuse into Ulti Canna, search for either SBTL or Wen, make Nochi with SBTL + whatever I sent off Canna, use canna to get back elder+sbtl, get nibbed. Can we simply just not play through Nib and shifter with Elder Canna, or am I just bad?
@@Jordan54321ify To extend from that position we need that card that we were planning to banish off Ulti-Gaiapelio to be any RB monster. From here discard SBTL to NS that monster from hand. SBTL triggers under shifter. The rest of the combo deviates based on which monster was normal summoned but we should end up with a strong end board regardless This line is indeed slightly weaker to early Nibiru. But realistically no one activates Nibiru on 5 summons when they see that you searched SBTL. Only a person who knows this line will Nib at that point which is probably less than 10 people who have seen this comment
