After thought...I've changed my mind on the Ash & Ember Eye Soot. I have been playing with it more and I really love it as a loose eye liner. Similar to how I demonstrate it on my lower lash line in this video, it is quite nice when applied on both the top and bottom. And it stays in place nicely. It's a keeper. ❤

I love the products and have no problem using brushes on the eye soots. Get the eye colors in the samples. That way you can get all the shades for much cheaper. The eye kohl's are amazing. Everything lasts all day.

I love this brand, I have 3 of the color Nectar pigment balms, (bloodflower, snapdragon, bee sting) and the Solaris highlight, and the highlight topper, the yellow "wasp" pigment balm, plus 2 lip sheers on the way (swarm and bloodroot). I have not heard many people loving the eye pots but since you say they remind you of westman atelier eye pods, I can see why people might not love them. BUT I MIGHT because I have both sets of the eye pods and I'm obsessed with that formula, also Natasha Denona's CP cream to powder formula is my fave from her but most people's least favorite. I love creating eye looks with this texture of shadows, and prefer using my fingers anyway. I might need to check these out, I was afraid they were too jelly like, but if they're like the eye pods, more of a squishy powder, I'm all in... thanks for the review!! ;)

Love your channel! I have the RDF eye soot in Half Light and use it more as an eye primer then throw some KW bronzer in the crease and line with VB in Bronze. As far as mascaras go I would recommend the VB one but it’s definitely a drier formula, more akin to Glossier’s. Dying to try the Chanel mascara in Metal Terracotta...

Hi! Thanks for your comment! I have recently been layering the RDF Half Light with the RMS Beauty Master Radiance Base Cream Highlighter in the shade Rich in Radiance, and it is GORGEOUS! I have not tried any VB products yet but I am intrigued. They look lovely! I will have to check out that Chanel mascara! So far everything Chanel beauty that I have bought has been to die for! xo-MJR

Thanks for all the information and demo! You mentioned a few times that a product was clean or not completely clean. What do you mean by clean?

"Clean" in the beauty industry typically means that the product is free from materials the are known to be harmful to humans, such as carcinogens. There are varying degrees.
