Do you love traveling with kids? Then subscribe to our family vlog! We're the Sognonvi (pronounced SUN-YOH-VEE) family, and we're all about fostering togetherness as a family by experiencing new adventures New York City where we live, and all around the world when we travel.
As you can probably tell, we're a multiracial family (or interracial family or mixed family - whichever term you prefer). Carmen is Chinese and Belgian, and mostly grew up in Hong Kong. Serge's parents are both from Benin in West Africa, and he was born and raised in NYC.

Waikiki is a beautiful place to visit. We enjoyed every time we went. My family have to get back traveling soon. The pools are so relaxing. Also try the Waikiki Trolley sightseeing. Beautiful family in Hawaii. Have all the fun its a lot to do and see.

Thank you so much for this! On my visits I have always stayed at the Alohilani (which is a perfectly lovely resort)😊 just out of habit. It’s so nice to actually see first hand the other options that are available in the area!

Yes we loved Alohilani! Def can’t beat the location if you want to be by the beach. But the Ritz Carlton just has such a plush vibe. We really enjoyed it as well!

Have you guys stayed at the Royal Hawaiian? If so I’m torn between the Royal Hawaiian and Alohilani. What do you guys prefer and why? I also have 2 younger kiddos and Finding your RU-vid channel has gotten me excited for future trips and memories as a family
