RIU Palace Tikida Taghazout in Agadir, Morocco filmed in July 2022 a review of the resort, hotel, and food on an All Inclusive package holiday with TUI.
Seems to be the norm whoever we go. I do the reserve of sun beds and then wake the missus up for breakfast 😂 Though half 6 is quite early. Hoping it won’t be as busy late Sep when we go but prob it will be 😆
This is really helpful! Thanks for doing the walk around! How far are the pools from the rooms it seems like a massive complex! Also are the pool bars near by I didnt see many of those? My friend told me it’s dangerous at night in Marrakesh is it similar in agadir? Was there much to do outside the hotel? Thanks again
It depends on the room, the majority are not far with the exception of the outer rooms which are in a separate block. There is 2 pool bars one at each end of the pool section. When the walk down the stairs towards the beach you'll see one of the bars on the right and as you walk towards the beach the last bar which you don;'t see is in the far corner at the last pool
Hello there regarding all inc is that 24 hrs in main resturant and bars and what is the dress code for evening meal? It states on their website no sleveless t shirt and long trousers?
Main buffet restaurant you can wear 3 quarter trousers and a t-shirt. It's not quite 24 hours there is snacks available from 11pm until around 2pm whilst we where there served from the main bar in a side room.
Thanks for the walk around and info/tips etc. We are going late Sept and opted for a non sea view room (just due to cost) so just hoping we don’t get the same issue with the smell of sewage. But useful to know you managed to change rooms. We will prob book a spa treatment on the day of departure so we can use their facilities and so we can be chilled before the return flight. Did u do any of the excursions and is everything done via phone apps? Last one tipping, did you tip and if so what was the going amount? Cheers. Pat from Gloucestershire.
We tipped around 10 to 20 MD not everywhere. If you go to the market in Agadir it’s huge whilst not pleasing to the eye as it’s just one huge market when you arrive you can have people who work for the market escort you around it’s free but we tipped around 30DM just to feel safe and go to the right stores he makes sure when you barter your getting a fair price. We took a private taxi arranged by reception to the centre of Agadir and arranged round trip again the price was reasonable. We didn’t manage to go on any excursions as a lot of our party was ill due to the humidity drink plenty of water !
