In other resorts u can have un.i tied access to beach towel the only problem at Riu was u only can have access to one beach towel when I ask to have 2 cards for beach towels they said NO and I was disappointed but for the rest evreything was really good. The Indian and Spanish restaurants are the best.

Hey Leah. Great video. I'm looking to book this place for 2 weeks solo trip. Will have to work from there on and off so was just wondering if there was included WiFi in the rooms and if the connection was strong? Thanks 🤟

Hey Chad thank you! Yea the wifi is included and it’s a pretty good signal throughout the resort. I could easily load RU-vid videos and watch Netflix 😊👌🏻 Have a great trip! ✈️☀️😎

Hey, my fiance and I are trying to decide between this Riu and the Royalton Chic. We definitely understand you get what you pay for, but have heard this one is a ton of fun aside from the food and service issues. Would you go back or would you recommend just going to a better resort? Really appreciated the video.

@@scott6421 They actually opened it for the first time in a while the week I was there. We went once to see how it was and it wasn't very busy, but maybe that's because it was only 11pm 😋

I don’t think this is her type of resort. I’ve done a lot of research and many people have found Riu República to be amazing and you’re not breaking the bank for it.

Great video. What week were you there? I didn't realize they still require masks in the restaurants. My buddy and I are heading down there in 2 weeks. Had no idea masks were still mandatory there.

Thanks Andrew! Glad you enjoyed the video 😊 I was there Feb 21-26. Yea just in the restaurants even though all the staff and guests are fully vaccinated. No masks outside of the resort though. Have a nice trip!

Sorry to hear that u didn't have the best experience there. Been there 6 times and always had a great experience. The food is so good ... can't complain about the food. The only thing I didn't like was the steak at the steakhouse it was so fatty even the server said that there s no fat it was at least 60% fat i didn't really like it but the salmon was out of this world.
