It wasn't made clear like it was in the manga but Mob is not at 100% right now. He is at ???%. It has only been shown in action twice. Once back in season 1 when he stripped Teru and destroyed his school and secondly against Mogami's world of demons. To show how strong ???% is, even at 100% courage Mob couldn't defeat all the evil spirits that Mogami had collected. Yet when he went ???% he destroyed not only all the spirits but Mogami's whole inner world in an instant.

Yeah ???% is also ungodly powerful hence why no one has been standing a chance. So hype reading it in the manga and seeing it animated is such a joy

??? is essentially Mob’s full and unfiltered power. If he is able to control this side of him, he’ll be damn unstoppable in his universe

Can somebody explain to me why he turned into ???? This time around…I mean he just talked about dealing with his emotions better and I would get it if he was rejected and it happened but like why did it happen.

@@natefab4490 He got seriously injured by that truck. Any near-death experience so far has caused Mob to go on survival mode aka ???. Some important dialogue was actually missing this episode, but hopefully it’ll be explained in tomorrow’s episode.

Also for a moment he was choking Teru sort of like how Teru did to him during their first fight. ???% is savage

The moment when Teru said Mob has just to go home, that's the point the unknown percentage take Teru personally. The one and only drive the Unknown percentage was to meet Tsubomi no matter who stops him. So yeah he has to make sure Teru is out of the board. He even mocks Teru by exploding near citizens to show he doesn't care.

Yep One is a great conventional writer too actually solving the plot points that he set up before the story ends.

Now it's only Ritsu, Reigen, and Mob with unresolved plotlines. Mob and dealing with ???% and his confession, Ritsu with his fear of ???%, and Reigen still not being honest with Mob

I loved how many parallels there were to their first meeting. The setting, the choking, the more obvious references. And the "I guess I win this time!" line makes me so emotional, given that even when he's driven into a corner in a such desperate situation, Teru does pull of something that Mob couldn't back then - even with Mob's explicit permission (albeit only visible to us, but Teru clearly understood the sentiment) he refuses to "go all out" with his powers and actually aim to harm Mob instead of trying to subdue him, switches strategies to make the best out of the situation, save all those people and save Mob from hurting and potentially killing them. Ofc he probably realized on some level that he likely couldn't harm ???% even if he did try, but given how high-stakes and high-paced the situation was, he handled it incredibly well imo.

Eh, chapter 100 of the manga doesn’t really show Mob specifically targeting the citizenry in the corresponding scene, it’s just more him releasing blasts of psychic energy without care. The manga shows the people being tossed/flown around, but none of them are gratuitously bleeding. They are more drawn with particle effects being blown off them, which could be interpreted as spittles of blood/bodily fluids being knocked off/out of the people, but could also just as easily be dust and debris too.

@@TheoVorster I guess the particle effects can be anything else asides blood, they did that with saitama vs garou and then most people believed that saitama finally bled which isn’t. Yeah but using it without a care with people around you and ??? Knows it is still intentional harm. He even looked around the destruction as buildings being blown from behind, and then looked back at teru like saying “your move, what’re you gonna do?”.

@@eldeuls1237 sure intentional harm in terms of like criminal liability. I meant more that ??? wasn’t targeting the populace any more than he was targeting the buildings and infrastructure.
