Your design philosophy at the beginning reminded me of how much I love Bowser’s Inside Story. He is a boss enemy and his gameplay makes sure you know it. His attacks are super heavy and his stats/damage are far above what would be considered normal for the Bros. In the over world, there are monsters that bowser would just trample over and get a handful of coins, but if you backtrack with the Bros, you’ll find that they are legitimate enemies that can and will fight Mario and Luigi. If they aren’t big, Bowser squishes them and effectively skips the fight.
@@islandboy9381 Well, considering how poorly for a Mario game Bowser's Inside Story DX did (From what I remember, it sold less than a million copies worldwide during the 1st week at launch), I doubt we are gonna see any more Mario RPGs like that ever again for a long time. And even if we do, it's definitly not gonna be from Alpha Dream since they were sadly shut down. Though don't get me wrong, I still hold a small amount of hope for another good Mario RPG game in the near future thanks to Origami King's success.
The amount of work and effort that's in this is actually mind blowing with every single new thing brought up it kept blowing me away, this started out as a simple giant overpowered character but then it grew to TITANIC levels of insanity. major props to this and holy crap you and your team should take a break because god damn that is impressive.
came back to this video cause something came to mind, obviously there's the 2 skylanders alts for bowser so what i was thinking was what if for the genreal victory theme it could be the vehicle part and superchargers soul gem theme from skylanders superchargers and for the vs mario victory theme it could be the end of level theme from skylanders giants (they used this one in later games for challenge victories such as the end of swap zones or challenges for superchargers
This mod has a lot of dedication & really honors Bowser as a boss character by introducing his various traits of him in other Mario games, than simply only Smash Bros. Very impressive!
OMG!!! This is so amazing!!! It’s actually gave me my own idea for a Bowser redesign in Ultimate which whenever I start my RU-vid stuff will be a video!!! Now this is a BOWSER MOVESET!!! The detail is godlike and really makes smash bros Bowser feel a little out of place, but it’s still a decent moveset! I feel like smash Bowser focused on his animalistic side while this focuses on his skills from over the nearly 50yrs
This is the best mod I’ve seen It is crazy and unique Question: Let’s say a ditto bowser matchup happened. Both managed to get their meter but the left bowser became Giga first. What if the other Bowser became giga while the previous bowser is also giga?

I know I'm just echoing everyone else, but the amount of work you guys have put into this is insane. Not only did you create a very complex character, but also made a very cool stage and made Bowser interact with so many other characters and stages. Truly, a perfect showcase for his Majesty.
The Fact they made Bowser so detailed by making him feel like a actual boss fight and the noise changes plus even more random additions makes him probably the greatest character to plausibly exist Also All Mario's add something different compared to none Mario's
This is what the King should be known as! One of the most powerful villains in gaming history! Yes there are more powerful, but Bowser is immortal and even if he dies, he has an Undead form which he can very well withstand so much more punishment and deal much more damage. So I’ve tried the mod out, and it’s easily the best bowser mod I’ve seen. Sure, he’s comically large, but that’s par for the course in the Mario series. Every attack feels so powerful, it’s like unlocking a boss as a playable character, and he not being nerfed. I have only two complaints: 1: Side Special is way too strong. The only way for bowser to get hit out of it is by being parried, he can’t be hitstunned during it, it does a bunch of damage, and due to the decent knockback he can win a match with only this move, regardless of cpu level or number of cpus. (I haven’t tested this with other people.) Winning with the move just feels cheap, so I suggest making it so you can only use it for a limited time, and maybe give more Endlag by bowser getting exhausted if the time runs out completely and isn’t cancelled before that. (I do not know how to code so I don’t know if this would be very difficult or not.) 2: The crashes. King Bowser is very prone to crashing, especially with some modded characters, meaning they can’t be in a match with bowser, because it’ll crash before you even get to fight. I’m pretty sure this was a problem with version 1.0 too, so I don’t know if there’s much to be done about it. Other than that, he’s an amazing character with nothing else like it on the workshop. His large size makes him very imposing and powerful looking, and you avoided him just being overly large hitbox that can be combo-ed endlessly with help of the though guy mechanic. The sound design is great. The alts are too, and there every attack is so different from one another, which is especially impressive considering how little variety bowsers moveset has in the Mario franchise. The Giga/fury bowser and the fury mechanic are excellent and really fun too. All in all, a great mod that’s really fun to use, IF you can get it working. Good job!
Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you mentioned the sound design; it's an element I feel is often overlooked and is something I put a lot of time into getting right. The crashing is definitely the project's biggest issue, but there's only so much that can be done to mitigate that on my end. I do intend to eventually release a lite version of the character that will cut several features after he's been out for a while. King Bowser actually can get knocked out of his Side Special, but the front of the attack is disjointed, which makes doing so more difficult. I do like the idea of a time limit that results in him getting tired out, so I may end up implementing that in a future update.
The voice changes are good and all but I just want to say that the new Rivals update makes it so you can have the voice changes on all the skins do to you being able to add custom CSS elements to workshop charcters just incase you ever want to update Bowser to support this QOL change.
This moveset and what not is what I expected bowser to be like in smash bros ultimate, but I would've had the giga bowser transformation be replaced with fury bowser and include some moves he has in his side game of the same name.🔥🐢

Something about boss characters is that they usually telegraph their attacks (usually the stronger ones) before using them. That way, you can make a boss character that is very strong but not unbearable, but something i noticed about this bowser is that many of his attacks come out too fast even for smash standards.
22:48 made it to where they come in variety(all of them had to happen for it to happen again) and intersring gimmicks for the ground, in the air and full on bosses that when defeated give you a power up, thats so awsome.
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS PHENOMENAL AND YOU CAN TELL A LOT OF LOVE AND EFFORT WAS PUT INTO THIS, KING BOWSER IS EXTREMELY OP, I HOPE SOME CHARACTER CAN BEAT HIM, BUT THIS IS AMAZING!!
Nice concept.^^ As some minor suggestions, something that few people notice when it comes to Giga Bowser when it comes to his boss fights in Smash, a lot of his moves are elemental in nature: wind, fire, ice, electric, and dust based earth. No idea if that'd be implemented in some way or not. But, figured I'd mention it.

Man the amount of detail is amazeing so manny refrances to the games and details that make him a unique charater. The size is cool he's always been bigger and to finally see that is awesome his attacks are awesome to from the non range a grab and 2 downward attacks of smash have leveled up to a plethera of options with range for days as well as strong get in close and non move but still damaging options while even keeping some of the goodies that smash took and made but are now bacic attacks to open up more moves but still keeping their power. As for giga bowser omg that's cool it's like the newer bowser fights second stages and has a just that mode sweet. The alts are sharp to and the theams for Mario and not Mario are a nice touch reminds me of fox v wolf sayings from smash but they never did anything like that with any other enemies wich was wieard so to see that implomented is awesome. And the stage OMG IT'S AMAZING the detail put into it just makes it like his home bace (even thoe the enemy's will probbly hinder him alot due to his size kinda ironic) but still if ya learn the timeing you can set up for some cool combos and the bosses are a nice touch and a star reward is nice I see why it's not who ever hits him and it's a grab item cause that's main game mechanics always you got to jump and grab the star at the end and the silence with the shimmer of it is that reward you seeked throughout your journey so to grab it was a nice call back to that just don't let the moment be to long your still in a fight and the oponent can still grab it I like it. Overall it's a outstanding take on the charater it feels like your bowser I always wondered why he dosent have any of his updated moves since their so cool and this mod proves their awesome veary well done I'm glad this made it to light excellent work.
I just needed to see half of this to know that you put in so much effort and time to create a wonderful character if I had this game on my PC I would definitely play Bowser 24/7

One of the most notable things about Bowser is that he uses dark magic, something that was mentioned in SMB1’s instruction manual, but was never utilized in Smash. I mean, I get that Ganon does it too, but Bowser came before Ganon, development wise.
To be honest Bowser rarely does. He uses his magic in Mario Galaxy, Mario 64, legend of seven stars and Mario Odyssey, but most of the time, he prefers using his physical strength and fire breath. It was shown in games such as inside story- He was furious when he couldn't breath fire anymore. It's just how he prefers fighting: Raw physical strength and power and fire breath, he uses his magic only if he really needs to.
@@cbfranco3307 I know, I’m just saying that Bowser not using Black Magic (which I’m guessing was taught by Kamek, who is his adopted father) feels kinda weird to me… aside from the fact he throws hammers out of nowhere in the original SMB1.
This isnt even Rivals of Aether anymore this is just the next Smash Bros lmao. But for real, this is one of the best characters i have seen in my whole live
