Definitely the most promising new miniatures game I've seen in years. I've converted many a wayward geek to the ways of tabletop warfare over the years, and when it hits the shelves I'll be proselyting for Rivenstone HARD. There's no reason this game shouldn't be a huge success.

Amazing production values! I loved the sound effects, animated components and smooth camera work. However a wee bit of feedback if you don't mind! A brand new player might still be confused after watching this as you move through the various parts of the game very quickly and don't slow down to explain basic concepts such as what each of the symbols on the skill dice represent and the various attributes of a stat card. Also I'm not sure if the jaunty medieval faire music really fit the mood of the game very well? Maybe try something more fantastical and war-like next time!

I think this is meant to show general gameplay rather than an in-depth "Let's play". I would imagine we need to watch channels like GMG or PlayOnTabletop for that sort of thing (both of which would do an amazing job).

Why would I start playing this when I just started getting into Malifaux? They also have Through the Breach an RPG and The Othersids. Thier war game. Does this game come with the Terrain at least?

I have to agree. This game is also incredibly expensive... With Kickstarter supposed to be a cheaper option.

Why only limit yourself to one wargame? Many have gameplay that is vastly different, lots of strategy/tactics to explore with each.

@@JanterCyrano I do not belive you need a gimmick like that to set your game apart from other games. I never released a game but to me what is important is a evocative setting and interactive actionpacked rules, I do not think being super original is that super important.

@@JanterCyrano I agree that it gives the game a different feel. Even if you kill a bunch of your enemies you can't sit on your laurels. On the flip side, even if your figs are coming back, you still need to get them in the action, and, chances are, that it's away from your gate. In shogi ("Japanese chess") figs can not only come back, they can come back ANYWHERE. I like this better as there's only one entry point, and that is a manageable threat.
