At 1:59 I had a situation like that. The entire current of the river was pushing up against an undercut bank, and I ran out of power with my 100hp Jet Pump outboard. I got scared. Never again. Now, I went inboard jet. With 215hp on this current version. My next one is gonna push 400+ hp. I never want that feeling of inferior power ever again. Awesome video btw.

Dustin has our Classic 470 boat. Very durable and an awesome boat in its own right! This is a jet tunnel boat specifically designed for shallow rivers.

Are you still able to mount launching wheels on the transom with the tunnel design on the back? And how much more will the extra bottom protection cost?

Looks amazing!!! Sorry if this is a dumb question: What are the additional (black) tubes on top of the main tubes?

The black tubes are for when you go up the big rapids, the rollers coming down the sides of the boat don't completely fill up the boat with water. No matter what you will still get wet! It just helps.

Can my boat really handle sharp rocks would be great for the Delaware River where I'm at

It really depends on a lot of factors including just how sharp and pokey the rocks are. 😆 That being said, we have not needed anything more than the base boat hull. We do have an extra protection layer we are developing for those that need it. Stay tuned for more information on that!

Can I put a propeller engine on the jet boat?

You can, but it defeats the purpose of a jet tunnel hull. This hull is designed specifically for a jet outboard. Still, if you don't need the super shallow water capabilities of the tunnel hull and jet outboard combination, you can still use an outboard with a propeller.
