I personally think that only sertain characters would help you, since some of the bosses DON'T really like the ✨girls✨ like: Hasabe and Mami, Mizuzu and The Mafia lider. But ,as the story line progresess you'd be able to unlock them by doing them favors and chores.
which is funny cause the true ending had to be patched in later...if you played the game to finish on release like me and I am sure many others, the ending for beating the secret boss was the exact same for the intended final boss lol
@@tyrongkojy I don't think it was a glitch, an oversight maybe cause they wanted the game to poke fun of the fact Misako and Kyoko's game was never released overseas and thus the problem with Kunio and Rikki that the base ending said, but I suppose there was some backlash that there was nothing to show for finding the secret boss so they decided okay lets give them a happy ending for beating these bosses, the happier ending was definitely patched in a patch later cause I played that game to death and the ending was always the same lol
@@Avalon64 I'm not saying the ending wasn't patched later, I'm question it not being there in the first place. Like, did the patch fix an inability to access, aka a glitch? Was the ending literally made after? Or did they just forget to include it before release? Just seems odd. Like, I assume they spoke about it.
@@tyrongkojy not that Im aware of but then again I didn't look too hard, I always just assumed people didn't like there was a secret boss and it gave you the exact same not so happy ending so they decided to add it in later, because if it was a simple glitch that made the ending inaccessible they could have corrected it in relative amount of time, the ending was patched in MONTHS later which suggests to me they had to make it
@@Avalon64 Oh no, I agree. That's obviously an issue that needs to be fixed, especially if it just cuts back to kicking the mob boss out instead of the ACTUAL girlfriends. As for the timeline for the patch, I mean, you never really know. Sometimes a bug can be very illusive. Look at any bethesda game. Witcher 3 STILL had quests that are bugged, to this day. Sometimes bugs are weirdly hard to find. I forget which quest, but there's one in W3 where an item you need just doesn't spawn sometimes. STILL. I actually think there's several that does it. One would think "spawn item" would be a quick fix, but.....
Perfect example of female representation in my opinion. The guys aren't seen as weak, and wimpy, and the heroines are actually likeable protagonists, and not just self righteous assholes.
There are a few more bosses that this game does not cover, as well as some enemies that are not mentioned in this game. I think that Abore and Burnov, as well as several other people, are also bosses in the game.
At 1st I was like: Hey pretty good~ then I was like: Da hell? that dude is twice her size?! How? DID SHE JUST DAB?! when the music hit: Gosh... Those are good song and so I was like: Kanata & tattoo? Really? the final hidden fight: Dafuq? you beat her up and she got astral projection now?? The other went full Saiyan? AND YOU CAN BEAT UP GHOST TO REVIVE A PERSON?! Stupid but creative and I LIKE IT!
I just finished the game through the special trial in the Switch! The combat was very repetitive and the story… mostly drawn out, but the bosses and were absolutely amazing! I laughed out loud on numerous occasions!
How do you get that true ending? I just watched a no damage boss run and neither the Sabuko nor the Hasebe and Mami fights ended with the boys going for Kyoko or Misako.
yeah he is from double dragon but most comonly known from his flash game game abobo's big adventure fun fact: abobo only has that mustache because the devs from abobo's huge adventure have contact with the copyright holders of abobo and scince the sprite was confusing weather or not it was mustache or his mouth they made it cannon that it is a mustache prety neat eh
@Sosnir De Jejejo It tries to be funny, but people just end up incredibly stereotypical and painfully generic. The main characters are idiots, none of the characters are likeable to begin with and the amount of times the game is trying to appeal to kids is frankly awful. The endings are actually worse than Mario Sunshine. In that game, it was the 100% ending that wasn't worth it, the standard ending was fine enough for me. Not only does this game reuse the same ending for 100%, but we see the whole game was pointless due to the Riki and Kunio actually being completely fine and taking the day off, but also that they don't even know the main characters. Learning that pissed me off. And now that I think about it, we don't even learn who sent the pictures the the 2, being kidnapped, or why they they don't seem to know about this so there's a giant plot-hole! I honestly can't get any enjoyment from the plot or individual writing.
@@michaeloverton04 Believe it or not, there actually is an answer for who sent the text. I did some digging back during a month or so after the game's release and there was a Twitter post saying that Yamada(the dumpster guy who gives sidequests) was the one who sent it. Why? I have no idea. Why this wasn't brought up in game? I also don't know.
@@streetdude9664 I don't mind if a beat-em-up has a story or not. But when there's THIS much emphasis on the story and writing, it needs to be at the very least decent, which this is painfully far from.
@@michaeloverton04 The story was awful and could have been far shorter, but I found the writing very engaging. Yes, it was full of stereotypical characters, but they played their stereotypes incredibly well and all had consistent characterization. Yamada’s backstory was hilarious.
It's kinda shocking to see abobo in here plus he even lose to a teenage girl I really hope it's not abobo from flash game abobo because flash game abobo is incredibly super strong
