Like many Midwestern cities, St. Louis has had to deal with offshoring and population decline in recent years. So a group of scrappy entrepreneurs - and a patchwork of organizations to support them - have stepped in to fill the void.
In fact, the Gateway to the West now boasts one of the highest rates of startup activity in the nation. Here’s a look at the big dreamers hoping to fuel a St. Louis “renaissance.”

I wish I could find entrepreneurs near me with the same mindset to work together to make a brilliant startup.. There's just so much money to be made with the right people and right idea. I have the sales, marketing, graphic design, web development and tech experience.

Thank you much sir. I'm working extremely hard daily and have been for the past 4+ years. I feel I would be further than I already am but I accepted a position with DirecTV and left things hang in the balance of fate, which did not work out too well. Definitely will keep the spirits high and keep on doing what I have to do. Things will definitely click, eventually.

JB It is North county of Saint Louis . Still great homes there located in Calverton Park . People dont even know about the private many acre lots and custom homes built 60 years ago between Florissant road and Elizabeth . Beautiful not far from Johny Londoff Chevrolet

Trex is a joke. They were all about the community when they started. As soon as the 'corporate' money started flowing, they stopped caring about the small guys. If you dont want to play in their little bs world of Arch grants and kissing ass then they are not inclusive. Friends company donated a ton of stuff to their old location only to be laughed at when he wanted to help with the new space as he wasnt a giant corporate shill. Nothing but a hype train. Only one company hsa ever even made it out of there worth talking about and they were simply snatched up for the tech.
