Great video as usual mates , the tankers anchored up off Amlych are bound for the oil terminal at Tranmere just up the river from where you where. They wait for a buyer or even for the price of oil to change , a penny difference can make a fortune .

Fish close in to the jetty with small hooks and you can pick up sole, and a good place for cod in the winter. Tight lines

Its usually absolutely rammed on there, I had an absolutely cracking Conger a bit further up the river at Monks Ferry near Birkenhead last year

I live in the Isle of Man the battery pier is very good for fish it is the one opposite where the ferry docks

On its day rich the mersey can be realy good fishing 👍

isle of man piers throw handfull chopped scallops in fish by groundbaited area great for nailing coalfish

had cod up to 6lb from there in the colder months oh and a pecker a chuck lol
