River Place Manor Guesthouse - Upington, South Africa 

Up until 2011, this beautiful riverfront property was the private residence of owners Piet and Ronel. With the humble addition of 5 rooms to host guests passing through Upington, River Place Manor was born.
Captivated by the mighty Orange River that was flowing a few meters from us, our favourite activity was to just sit on the deck with a glass of wine in hand. The snack platter didn't hurt either!
For a closer encounter with the longest river within South African borders, you are more than welcome to paddle out with a canoe, spend an afternoon fishing or get taken out on their pontoon for a braai on the river.
Whether you find yourself looking for a calm escape or are just making your way through Upington, we'd definitely suggest making this 5-star guesthouse your first choice!
