YES! that's what makes his character more conniving to me. whenever he tries to talk anyone out of being suspicious/accusatory towards him, I feel aggravation for the person he is talking to (whether it's Veronica, Hermione, jughead, etc) bc they can't get any more mad at him. he doesn't outwardly show the reaction they want LOL

My theory is Hiram is involved with th ending of season three of riverdale. When Hiram was in jail he said "oh mi hijah, you don't even know what's coming."
I think this means that in S4 by the middle or end, something really bad will happen to veronica including Archie, her business, mother, or even sending her to jail to "give her a taste of her own medicine"? IDK sounds like something Hiram would do because he feels like there is "no family now" as he said something along the lines of it in S3

The one about the neckless being a recording device makes sense because hiram makes a point on saying that she hasn't been wearing pearls in a while and that maybe she'll start wearing them. 🤯
