that role is called an ‘audience surrogate’. The character in an absurd situation who represents what you feel when watching it. Kenan is very good underrated at it. I feel like they usually make Mikey day the audience surrogate. He’s definitely good at it but I think kenan might be better

I think some of y'all got confused: Nobody ever said the acting on Riverdale is bad. All of the cast are excellent actors (maybe exept of cami). The thing that is bad is the writing and the dialogue they were given. That's what everyone is laughing about. Not the acting.
