@LawkSam Military service is a combination of things. When we think of military service in the Western world, it involves being on base, getting sent to Iraq, etc. But in Asia, it can mean monitoring the subway station, or issue parking tickets at night, etc. They can still dance, they can still battle, and depending on their boss's, they can have limited vacation days to travel around the country. But nevertheless, they cannot practice as much as they can before.
@lyctriangle He supports his crew along Rivers crew but he never go in. As for power, Phoenix seems to have given up on power, MOB was battling with a different crew at the same event and the same goes for Goblin and Shinobi. That's basically why Nauty One was the only one who was throwing in power.
why is everyone hating on c4 and bang roc... c4 is NASTY he is one of the most smoothest bboys ever and bang roc is still hella sick and got some new moves also. Quit hating on them and show them respect, if you think you are smart enough to make a command to rivers to kick a member out then go to korea and battle all of them and be their crew leader then.
HAHAHAAHAH i love these too watched them when they auditioned to the end they are so creative they kinda remind me of the smaller version I Am E crew!!!
@cyberex7 I agree man.. I kept saying to myself they're still as dope as always, but after UK CHAMPS 09 I realised that you can see Rivers really loves the dance, cause they still battle with their old squad even though some aren't up to the level jinjo is at now. If they'd battle at these competitions to win, especially against jinjo, they would have to make some serieus decisions, like 'using' bangroc, c4 or jo tee only for the routines and throwing mob, shinobi or goblin for solos instead.
@strifetv You're right, I live in Holland and I did think it involved being on the base for like 2 years getting drilled into a soldier, didn't knew it could be those regular things you just said. Thanks for clearing that up.
@erhsbboy its bboy strategy, send in the most skilled members about 75% of the time and if needed bring out support for routines or commando sets which is the members your listed.
@LawkSam stop trippin', Physicx is in the military. You can still dance, however, you just don't have as much free time to train as before the military. -Daniel
Born could've absolutely nailed his last set. He was feeling the music, everybody in that battle and even I could feel his energy and he killed it, but his set was only like 15 seconds, which is a shame cause he could've milked that beat out and rip it even more.
Rivers Crew are great at what they do. They carry the real image of Hip Hop like the attitude of the culture and has that certain swag that comes with it. (sorry for using this misused/outplayed word but this is how it should've been used before it hit mainstream media.) No dis to Jinjo they have their own unique style, both crew were and is dope. They inspire others around the world. Much respect for both crews.
@LawkSam Nonetheless I love Rivers, because they're a close family staying true to each other and other crews. I respect that. And not to forget, they're still a dope crew!
