the guy is going through the area on his first fresh game run, he might be confused. I would blame the one invading him for being a tryhard retard and invading in a non-pvp area! any other PVP-ready host would demolish the invader easily!
I think this is a testament to sheer skill and using your ashes tactically. Also helps that both of the people using the katanas didnt really seem to learn that Corpse Piler was getting them killed instead of saved. Nicely done, especially with Morgotts greatsword.
@@Fishy_1998yt Yes, but that isn't really a thing in low-mid invasions or if your doing a "lore" build that has specific armor and weapons or if you want actual fashion.
At around 1:10 I love how you can tell this guy is just panic mashing Corpse piler when the OP is out of range of the first round but he does 2 and 3 anyway
Anybody else that plays regularly online noticed how most of the time when the host has reinforcements, he/she becomes completely pathetic when they are left alone? It's always the same, three enemies, one is extremely aggressive, one spams projectiles, and the host is utterly useless.
I hate it when the Host keeps running away from me in fear until he summons a hunter or his coop friend arrives and they both start ganging up on me and the worst part is that after u get killed by the hunter/friend the host (who legit often doesnt do shit or just spamms proyectiles) does the point down and starts T-baggin, it gets on my nerves a lot.
I can’t wait for when countering rivers of blood is so common that the weapon art is just..no longer used in pvp. Then they start getting parried every time they swing, and they’re forcefully pushed out of using it entirely.
When it comes to invasions, you'll likely never see it go away on the host's side It's a really strong and easy to pick up pve weapon, and I doubt people playing co-op will stop using it just because of invaders Duels on the other hand...
@@094176 nah, they won’t learn how to, more or less they’ll just look up how to counter it, equip it, and if they ever see the weapon, immediately swap to it for the purpose of erasing it.
I’m already fighting that war path, its getting easier and easier. Give it time boys it’ll be pushed Out eventually. Also if you want to not have to worry as much about ROB go beyond RL 200 rivers practically drops off there because it’s not strong enough to kill with one combo.
@@094176 no it does need a nerf. Plain and simple. When you have one weapon that practically dominates early game That’s a slight problem. When you have a pole blade that’s technically supposed to be better but isn’t because ROB stats are lies you have an issue. What I don’t understand is how you can get over 600 ar with a weapon that scales C at best. That’s not right. 600 should be the max you can get with that kind of scaling.
So satisfying to see! Well done! I can't believe how braindamaged some of these players are. The first thing they do, is spam that ability, when they ought to know that the invader can clearly see what weapon they're holding and, therefore, know exactly what their intention is. Baffling, really 😐 Well played!
I mean they might just be playing through the game normally and might just be freinds, not everyone knows how to pvp no reason to use petty insults, whenever I get invaded with freinds I play dangerously and spam op weapon arts because 1 I didn’t want to be invaded and 2 I don’t want to have to go to the who summoning process again
@@STR1NGB34N1 well it's a crutch weapon for shit players who don't know the mechanics of the game and refuse to learn how to play the game without spamming the most op stuff and breezing thru everything with their friends doing the same thing
@@STR1NGB34N1 I mainly do coop lol, I hate seeing it in pve too it makes everything a joke. I've seen people use RoB to get maliketh to his second phase in the time it takes me to buff. They did 50% of the boss' hp by spamming L2 in less than 8 seconds. Took a fraction of their fp too as they spammed it when phase 2 started as well. Tell me how that isn't a crutch. Explain how a weapon that makes bosses die like that by spamming L2 with minimal buffs isn't a crutch.
1:16 imagine you are the one with the RoB, you see the other dude use golden parry instantly on ur every move, maybe you need to reconsider if running and mashing corpse piler is not the best of the strategies but reconsider and strategies are not an L2 weapon art lmao
imagine you are not a pvper who forcefully invades people hundreds of time and prepares for it but a common player who just wants to play with his friends
@@kiemugen9830 yes, but invasions are part of the game. It is known that if you are in coop you are more likely to be invaded. Are you invaded? either you get killed or you find a strategy to destroy the invasor. Those in the video just spammed L2 without doing anything else, this is not a strategy so they got killed...
FROM just has to nerf the range on corpse plier so these window lickers cannot spam it from so far away and the weapon wouldn't be so stupid. Thankfully these three idiots decided to not attack together, or attempt to have even a basic sense of timing their stuff together.
@@yutakaryujin3791 the hp loss from bloody slash is so insignificant as to not matter, and when landing the ash means an immediate kill, who cares if your hp goes down? Put the person using corpse plier in range of getting hit and they cannot just spam away with it anymore.
@@rashiro I've lost trades against corpse piler that I would've won if it took any health from them, so it would make a little difference vs the braindead users. Now, ppl that are actually good? That might be a different story
@@LeveledRogue I mean hey if that works it works. Presently rivers is super dumb in PVP and it needs to be nerfed in such a way as to let the mouth-breathers who think it’s fun in PVE still have their fun. However that happens I don’t care.
It is a complete and utter mystery to me how any of these three made it to the Mountaintops. Eh, to be fair, we didn't see much of Honda. Maybe he carried the host there. Not like you need to worry about getting parried in 90% of the PvE.
The fact that you think mountaintops are hard to get to, shows how skillful you are! And the fact that you are flaming obvious new players who have no idea how PVP works, shows how horrible you are as a person. Also, this guy cheaply invaded a host on his first run through the area. Using unknown skills and weapons to the enemy. A good player never brags about these kinds of invades. I say Put your sign down at the academy's gate let's see how good you are.
I learned to always carry a shield, be it buckler or the brass shield depending on build. RoB users are now just juicy picks :) Also a tip: Buckler parry is not the same as small shield parry. Its active frames start a lot earlier, meaning you have less chance of pressing parry button/trigger late. It is also very light so there is no need to carry any other small shield, even for them meagre stat buffs.
Golden parry is the shit just for the fact that it party's in a arch in front of you. Attack from most angles can be parried and you don't even need to be locked on.
RoB is an amazing weapon and it will never be out of the meta but that doesn't mean that it will be useful for brain dead players forever. Just look at this, the guy kept spamming even when the enemy was already out of range, that's why facing RoB users is very straightforward, if the player is brain dead, then this happens, then if the player knows how to use it properly then the fight is exciting and fair, I mean, this player was punished once and not happy with it, gets parried one more time in the same circumstances.
@@joeroganstrtshots881 Y-you do realize it was a 1v3 right? What did you expect him to do? Tank rotten breath and RoB weapon arts? Bruh, imagine calling parrying a “cheese” tactic-
@@joeroganstrtshots881 spoken like someone who is trash at the game, big oof. Here's how I can tell you're bad, from your statement you expect opponents to sit there and take shit they don't have too and know how to avoid... Because host privilege? If they actually knew how to play the game "Parry cheese" and "staying out of range" wouldn't be an issue numb nuts. You can easily get around and punish parries. You can easily pursue and pressure opponents, only time you can't is BHS which is maidenless behavior. We don't accept BHS here, specifically because when used properly it cannot be countered. Though do feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on the context of your statement
Online players can only invade if you've used the furlcalling finger remedy and have summoned at least 1 cooperator. Alternatively, you can use the furlcalling finger remedy and then the taunter's tongue if you want to be invaded solo.
that's because they just started playing, if you are good in PVP use the summon sign in a PVP area. Invading newcomers and flaming them, makes you the bad guy here.
@@sohaybsakhi9895 wtf do u mean new players they are in the mountaintops if they havnt learned the basics because they cheesed through the whole game its on them for their trash mentality
I’m late to the party but this was awesome. These are the kinds of hosts who cry about invaders ruining their game, when in reality they can’t even play the game without being carried by their buddies. I’m all for coop but you gotta accept the consequences of making the game easier for yourself!
Plenty of people (like me) just want to play co-op with their friends and rarely, if ever, engage in PvP. Of course those players (like me) are easy targets. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind being invaded it's a fun party of the game, it's just not a part of the game I spend much time with.
No, that's fair. It's not for everyone and I don't really recommend it for newer players. I do however like to teach new players those core principles of parrying. Cause in these situations you can easily catch a RoB like in this clip. I wish you jolly co-operation. (My friend forces all of us to use the tongue for more invasions in our playthroughs. Lol.)
I cannot stop laughing everytime I hear the RoB air ball 😭😭😭😭 Like how??? Are you so addicted to pressing L2?? HE WAS LITERALLY LIKE 20 FEET AWAY 😭. This is honestly the reason I don't use my ash of wars/weapon art until the opening to kill. Unskilled people with best in slot make up for some pretty good entertainment 😂.
You are flaming obvious new players! If this guy wants to show his skill he needs to put his sign down in a PVP area, and let's see how hard he's gonna get penetrated!
I swear to god, the worst thing about RoB users, is the fact that they have absolutely ZERO sense of Fashion Souls. Wear a cool-looking hat, or use dragon incants, just do something that isn't WA spam and ugly mask.
@@sekiro7645 yeah I have the hunter thing on and usually I’m pretty good at pvp, but whenever I get summoned as a hunter usually in farum azula I die to a beast man or play retarded idk why
most of these comments are so reddit-ish. these games really give people this weird superiority complex just because they have way too much time on their hands and can play video games all day.
It’s depressing how many people use this weapon tbh , meta or not it’s so sad to see just another boring casual, it honestly reminds me of dark souls 3 when everyone used the dark sword when it was busted at launch
I use RoB but I’m try to actually stay away from Corpse Piler (dual wield with uchigatana - seppuku, not much better) so lb attacks are abit more common for me now
Same, I like using RoB and Hand of Malenia, and, or other types of Katanas/dex weapons, but I always avoid Corpse Piler in PvP, hell, I usually avoid all Ashes of War to begin with. I just want a good sword fight.
@@alrightalright4585 try the dragonscale katana. the weapon art is pretty balanced and hard to land, even if u miss with it you get some great frost buildup and decent lightning dmg for 30 seconds
@@SoggyBacco Is that the one you get from the Lake of Rot from the Dragonkin? If so, I dual wielded that one with an Uchigatana for a lot of my first playthrough. It's a really cool, fun weapon to use. You're right.

Man that display by all 3 of them was just pathetic. People really should figure out the art of battle and war, simple tactics to improve your approach to battle can enhance the fun you have while giving you a much better chance to win. 3v1 should never ever lose unless they're facing a souls-god like Chasethebro or somethin.
Most people in Elden ring are literally just trying to do content with their friends lol, so they aren't really in the mindset of "get better at pvp". Especially when PvP in elden ring is total shite xD Netcode mostly.
Yeah people would rather complain the instant they face a good weapon /strategy rather than finding the counter for it, in fighting games that is the lamest actitude you can see, nerfing is only accepted when the META is overwhelming in comparison to other strategies
Too many people depend on corpse piler to kill anything then think they good at the game when they kill you with it like wowwie, you pressed one button a few times
