I have, I was just there for Summer Slaughter exactly a month ago, actually. I'm not from that area, but it's not too bad. It was the first time I had been there so I was a bit surprised that they would've chosen a venue there rather than in Chicago.
***** A lot of times the venue choice has to do with a lot more factors then just being located in the biggest cities. If any of the bigger bands on the package played in Chicago recently, they may have been under contract to not play within a certain distance of the city for a certain period of time. Also, if the venue in Joliet was willing to pay more money have the tour at their venue, that could have come into play as well. I'm not exactly sure on any of the details, but those are a couple possibilities.
