The original singer and guitarist who were In “The Silent Life” both left the band recently. They got a new guitarist, and now the bassist (long hair guy,) the drummer and the rhythm guitarist (bald guy) all do vocals 🤘

In Latin, nihil means nothing, so it might translate to rivers of nothing essentially

Nihil - pronounced “Nile”

Nihil is latin and means nothing and is pronounced nil. Same as the nil for zero used in english. I guess you can say nee-heel too. But it for damn sure isn't pronounced nile.

@@Darker_Waters In general, 100% correct. But the band has said they pronounce it as Nile, like the Nile river. In live shows they’ve even said “we are rivers of “Nile.”

@@filthyorcses6555 Hmm, interesting. In that case I see it like this: They're just wrong. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I wonder why they did that though. Could it be they actually just mispronounced themselves from the get go and just stuck with it or something?.

@@Darker_Waters I figured maybe they wanted to name it “Rivers of Nihil” to be like the Nile River, but spelled it like Nihil to mean “rivers of nothing,” but still pronounce it like the river? Idk man I’m not a doctor 😅
