Looking for museum quality paper, look no further. Rives BKF is my favorite drawing paper, which comes in a number of weights, but for me the 80 grams is my go-to. And it comes in a few different colors. And choosing the correct paperweight and highlights the unique qualities of the gray and tan papers, which only come in the 80-gram weight.
The paper is lignin-free, ensuring it never yellows, and its museum-quality attributes. This is the same paper I used to draw President Carter. The paper is excellent for both pencil and charcoal. And this paper has a beautiful tooth and receptivity, making it my preferred choice for high-contrast and toned drawings. The paper is available in 22 by 30-inch sheets, which I typically cut into smaller pieces for use.
