Why now? People tried to make this public prior to Trump's first election but Trump apparently bought off Daniels. It then took years to put together the case and any of the federal Trump cases were on hold for the 4 years he was President. It's not hard to figure out. Even then he was impeached twice although for other crimes and not for the Daniels fiasco. In addition two of the trials he is facing are for the misdeeds he committed while he was in office, from taking classified documents, lying about it and continuing to hide them to asking the Secretary of State of Georgia to find him 11,000 votes.

trump did not work efficiently,most of trump's damage was done by executive privilege,which the incoming president can undo by the same .the people were lucky in the fact that fat S donny was so lazy that most of his time was spent golfing or staying up all night tweeting.had he been a bit more ambitious,Russia would be in control of the Ukraine,Poland,and looking at Germany

Trump isn't exactly on a winning streak. He lost more than 60 cases after the 2020 election, 2 lost 2 E Jean Carroll case, he lost the NY fraud case, and his company and executives were found guilty on many counts. I can't think of even one case that he's won in the last few years.
