Paul Klipsch had the same goal with his huge Jubilee mid-treble horn but couldn't get both low enough to meet his bass horn and high enough to cover the treble. Thank you Andrew for clarifying why it costs so much.
Very excited for these! I'm still using my AJ Pioneer elites. I can't imagine how great they sound in person. Currently out of my range but, I'm starting to save.
Hey, kudos, there aren't many interviewers who ask such intelligent questions or have the ability to actually add to the conversation. I'm talking big name youtubers. Wish you success.
Andrew... now make a floor standing pair with "integrated speaker stand that holds a subwoofer". In the bottom, put a proper subwoofer with integrated sub amp and ALSO incorporate DSP control so I can tune the low end for my room. Allow the sub amp to pull speaker level input from the Coax driver speaker amp hookup, and also have an option to use line level. Have XLR and RCA inputs available. The value proposition is that 1) You save money on speaker stands, and 2) you've got a pair of subs with DSP in the same footprint (that now you don't have to buy separately). It's a true, full-range speaker system with Room Correction / DSP on the subs. Another thing to consider... seal the top cabinet so they can be nudged closer to the front wall. Again... DSP on the sub makes it all work great. Sell it for $4,999.
I'm a Tannoy fan but I can't afford DC10A's, or the comparable Fyne. Very curious about these. I'm running the Tannoy XT8F towers which I love, but they are kind of big & really need a big room.
