Bro . I just took delivery on my R1T within 72 hours lol... Got access tothe R1Shop wednesday night took delivery Saturday morning. You are a big reason why I made the leap from an EV6 to R1T Thank you for your content.
It was great seeing you had the guts to take the Rivian down the Devil’s Staircase. In the dark too. I’ve done that many times in my Wrangler, and was curious how the Rivian would do. Easy Peasy. I agree, that hill is much more impressive in person than in the video.
Thanks I really enjoy pushing the limits on this truck! That trail overall is so cool I definitely want to go back there at some point and see the entire thing during the day👍🏻
Absolutely amazing! Your videos really show your attention to detail, flow beautifully and are top notch! Love the light, playfulness at the end, you should do more of that! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us, awesome!
Waiting on my R1S to show up soon. This is probably the best rivian video ive seen.1 because I'm also an avid outdoors person. Seeing it succeed on some moderate offroad trails in nice. Im not likely to do tougher than that like the locked rigs ive had. 2 rivian adventure network! Knowing theres reliable spots to plug in makes all the difference. I'll also be traveling from LA to places unknown.
Thanks and happy to be inspiring adventures in other Rivian owners! The truck is very capable and I’ve had great luck with the Rivian charging network as well.
Fun fact about that McDonalds. Sedona has a very strict architecture rules about colors to preserve the red rocks look. So it’s only McDonalds in the world where the arches aren’t golden and that’s why they are turquoise.
I just discovered your channel a few days ago, and the quality of your videography (the editing, drone shots, and cool music choices) is outstanding--I think your channel has an extremely bright future . Having lived in Scottsdale/Phoenix area for 40 years, you showed me parts of Sedona I had never seen, so thank you for sharing this with us . I think if you send Rivian some of your footage while on the Broken Arrow trail up in Sedona, they'll be buying it from you to use in their promotional spots for the R1T! Looking forward to more from you in the future--glad you had a fun and safe time on your trip!
Stephen, at 14:35, it shows you have a 1.99mi/kWh efficiency. That looks to include 214 miles and some of that off-roading. That's amazing. I usually get less than 1mi/kWh when off-roading.
Great video! They keep getting better and better. Always enjoy watching them. Finally got my Rivian R1T! I can't wait to take it on it's first adventure. Sedona is very beautiful, I used to live there. The broken arrow trail is a legit trail, perhaps a 6 out of 10 on difficulty, it's impressive that the Rivian could navigate it so easily. My old F150 on 35s did it. Too bad BLM and USFS are shutting down so much public land for us overlanders though. There is so much public land around the Sedona area, I don't see any reason why the government should herd everyone into the same 1/2 acre space; the whole reason I camp is to be out and away from everyone else and immerse myself in nature. Anyways great video and thanks for making it and covering the charging along the way.
Thanks for the support and congrats on the R1T! Really happy you have been enjoying the videos🙌🏻 It’s definitely a bummer about the restrictions on open space around Sedona but it’s still such an awesome place!
I've watched a few of your videos, looking at purchasing an R1T myself. I noticed you have the 20" bright wheels in some and then they appear to be either powder coated or you switched to the darks?
I had originally wanted the dark 20” wheels but was able to get my truck sooner by opting for the brights. I eventually was able to buy a used set of darks and sell the bright set👍🏻
Love the videos. It provides us a lot of inspiration for our own adventures. : ) Curious if you use conserve on the highway regularly, or only when you need to stretch the mileage between stops.
Quick question, was the Rivian charger not open at Sedona? Or was the EA more convenient? I see one listed on the Rivian website/charger map and I’m planning to head in that direction later this year.
@@ChargeOverland They normally take around 20 years to bloom and die shortly after. Although the plants themselves aren't rare, seeing one blooming is.
