The new 64 SMY takes the very best from Riviera’s largest luxury cruising yacht models and incorporates them in a more compact design. It’s smaller, but includes all the features that make the 72 and 68 SMY so outstanding.
Love this model. Absolutely everything you want. And everything they say about the handling is true, she turns so flat and even without the gyro was steady and handled well, and so quiet, normal voice conversation can be had in the rear elevated seating area by people in that seating area underway - upstairs at the helm you barely hear the engines hum. By far the most beautiful and enjoyable boat I've ever had the pleasure of being aboard.
It's a chardonnay boat - best left on the hook in the marina sipping a glass of wine. Go through Haulover in that princess and you 'll need to go to the dentist to have your teeth tightened. Ugly ass boat. Def not in the Viking, Bertram or Hatt catagory
3.9m AUD, although that is in 2020, I suspect prices will have risen. Hull #1 is optioned with the gyro seakeeper and V12 engines, amongst other things.
A bit sad as a viewer to see him talking to someone on a higher level behind the viewer. So felt disinclined to continue to watch this. Beautiful boat none the less.
