Riviera Resort Staycation | Disney World's Best Hotel?! Checking into a 2 Bedroom Villa

We had the best Disney staycation at Disney's Riviera Resort in the heart of Walt Disney World. The Riviera Resort is the newest Disney operated hotel on Walt Disney World property and it is my new favorite! This Disney World Resort Hotel is a Disney Vacation Club Resort and offers spacious villas in addition to standard hotel rooms. We checked into a 2 bedroom villa and were absolutely wowed by the space and how luxurious every detail was. This Disney hotel is located on the Disney Skylier system giving you easy access to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios as well as more disney world hotels.
After exploring the room and filming a riviera room tour we went to the resort's quick service restaurant Primo Piatto for lunch. The food at this resort is next level! Here you can also find Bar Riva - a great pool bar as well as Topolino's Terrace located at the very top of the resort. After lunch we went for a swim at the Rivera Resort pool and enjoyed relaxing poolside. In the evening we relaxed in the room with some snacks and drink and even got to see Epcot fireworks from our Riviera balcony!

My family and I have been Disney World Annual Passholders for about 10 years. We love making memories together in our happy place. We all get to connect over our mutual love of all things Disney and travel!
I have visited all of the Disney Parks in the United States: Disneyland, California Adventure, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom! It is my dream to one day visited all the international Disney Parks as well! My travel interests also go beyond the Disney Parks, I love vlogging my cruise vacations and trips to all-inclusive resorts!
I am from Pennsylvania and grew up in a small town outside of Philadelphia. My dream is to soon relocate to the Orlando area and live near Disney!

100% agree about Stacey! We turned on the TV immediately when getting into our room. Maybe it's weird that I still watch her on You tube from time to time.

I'm a bit late to the party but I love Riviera reviews, and yours was the best!! I bought DVC for this place back in 2022, and never regretted it. I dont know if you've been back since, but when you do return, check out the carpet in front of the elevators. You won't see just Mickey and Minnie, you will also see the other 4 OG Disney characters hidden there too...Goofy, Donald, and Pluto! Also...the Pascal you saw is a game the resort does. Each day they put him in a different spot, and you take a picture of him and bring your photo to the Eventi room downstairs, and get a nifty little prize button with sticker spaces. You can fill the button if you get the photo five times.

Another amazing vlog! I am your parents lol balcony people, I am a DVC member as well and that is my highlight making breakfast in the morning, making coffee and just going and sitting on the balcony and eating breakfast is key to my vacation! I rather make it in my room than go to a breakfast at a disney restaurant.. Best balcony is Old Key West we get a huge round table with all chairs on the balcony best place for breakfast watching the golfers golf. Thank you to the family for letting you guys do this resort tour, my husband and I didn't like Riveria at first but now we love it the skyliner is right there and we are Epcot and Hollywood people and the buses are right there too!

Balcony time is the best! I agree breakfast in the room with a view beats going out to eat. I’ve been getting back into golf and recently play Lake Buena Vista. I looked up at those Old Key West balconies and said I would love to stay in those rooms! That resort has the best vibe!

What a very kind and generous thing the family did for you and your parents. I would get spoiled there really quick. It truly is a beautiful resort. If I could afford a DVC room I would like to stay where y'all were or at Beach Club. I remember Stacy on the tv. I watched a lot of her when we would come back to rest in our room. I was doing some app testing before this resort opened and was able to tour a few of the rooms and the thing that really struck me was a few paintings in some of the rooms (like the one with the cats in the Master your parents stayed in) actually are the view out the window! I got a quick video of one from a corner room, the painting then the view. The whole place just blew me away. SO happy you had this stay!

Hi Meg, my husband and I love watching you, you are just the sweetest ever! We have never stayed at the Riveria but it definitely looks like a resort we would love to stay. You had a great view. We are DVC members so I would agree with you and your mom about the Dream vacation… Definitely the Bungalows.. they are AMAZING! I hope you get to stay there. Definitely one of our favorite resorts. The resort is lovely and you can't beat the convenient Skyliner access. We usually get the garden/pool view.

Oh wow, good question! It’s hard to pick, and I’m not too familiar with actually DVC points to know the benefits of one over the other but just my favorite, resort wise it would probably be either here at Riviera or Polynesian 😊
