We have been working with Rix Optics doing some field testing on the New line of Thermal Scopes that they offer. First round testing was with the Leap 6 640 model and this time we tested out the 384 version in the Leap 3 384 resolution. The unit performed great under a variety of weather conditions and gave great image quality for a 384 resolution unit. Great features with easy use through the layout of buttons and menu options. Scope was very fast and easy to dial. Great battery life providing around 5-6 hours run time on a single 18650 battery. Recoil activated video is a huge plus for always making sure you get the video even when things happen fast. Also the optical zoom helps you keep a clear target image while being able to get zoomed in for more accurate shooting. Overall highly impressive units. Sound quality is currently the only issue while videoing. This is an issue that they have been working on through firmware updates.
