Some people think this was rehearsed. Nah, it wasn't rehearsed. Riz was competing in freestyle rap competitions before he became an actor. There's a freestyle rap battle competition from a decade ago that you can watch on RU-vid. Riz almost won the entire competition, but was robbed in the end because of racial bias.

Both Riz and Ed Skrein used to rap in the UK as well as acting before they became massive abroad, they were moderately popular. Then they were on a movie together directed and written by Plan B, a really popular british rapper and after that they got really famous. It's been amazing watching their trajectory, they 're awesome

I'm proud to be an American, but I'm also big on respect for others and understanding the difference between the very few extreme people who are just mentally unstable opposed to the people who practice their culture/religion peacefully but our stereotyped off of the few extreme acts/views of their culture/religion. If you are American, you'd probably never heard of the film "Four Lions" because it is a UK indie film. If you like dark comedies and have are open-minded I highly recommend watching the film. Riz is amazing in it (which is how I recognized him on Fallon, had no idea he was in the new Star Wars) and is just a great film overall
