How to fix: I was having the same problem today and none of these comments helped me fix it, so the only solution I found was by connecting the keyboard to my PC via Bluetooth. 1) On the back of your keyboard, ig you haven't already, flick the switch to 'B'. 2) Go to your windows start bar and search for 'bluetooth'. Click 'Bluetooth and other devices settings' 3) Click 'Add Device' and you will see a available devices to connect to. 4) On your keyboard, hold FN + Q for a few seconds until the 'Q' starts blinking really fast. 5) Now you should see your RK keyboard as an available device to connect to, so select it in the devices that show up and that's it! The 'P' should stop flashing now.
This is because when my pc is off, then I play with my keyboard while it is charging. I accidentally pressed the FN+Q button, and then the “Q” button blinking (Set to Bluetooth), the “P” button blinking (Set to Wireless) I've turned it ON/OFF and RESET (FN+SpaceBar) but it's still the same (cable still connected/charge). So then, i finally removed the cable charger and left it overnight. The next day when I used it and it was back to normal.🤣
So, if you wanna use it in wired but the p blinks, the usb port you are using is not one made for transmitting data. Try another usb port.(in case u use a laptop or pc with multiple ports)
When its flashing P it means its looking for a pairing device. To get started you hold FN + P for 3 seconds. It should start flashing for a bluetooth connection
I have problem with my rk61 plus, the bluetooth connection and usb dongle is not working, i try the fn methods, like fn/space,Q,W,E,P,tab is not blinking… i hope u know to fix this issue, thanks
In my case. I forgot to put the wireless connection (USB thingy) to the laptop. Maybe the reason why it's blinking cause it's looking for a connection. I plugged the USB thingy and its gone. Hope that helps :)
Maybe reset the keyboard hold the fn key and space is should blink and it will reset your keyboard and fix your problem happened to me always fix the problem
SIMPLY. for wired connection, set it to off. And the most important, dont let the usb connectors charging when PC IS OFF. Change energy saving mode like ERP or similar into the BIOS. SET IT TO OFF. DONT LET ON USB CONNECTORS WHEN PC IS IN SLEEP OR OFF STATE. The solution is in the BIOS configuration (USB power management) This is not a keyboard issue or defect. Regards!
On the backside of the keyboard there is a switch with a b and a G on it. switch it back to B. then the Q should start blinking. it should connect back up. if not, hold control and Q down til Q blinks fast. that means it's in pairing mode for Bluetooth
The P key blinks, indicating that the keyboard mode is switched to 2.4g mode. You need to plug in a usb dongle. If insert the dongle P key is still flashing, it may be the dongle dropped code, you need to re-code the dongle, you need to press FN+p, P key will flash quickly, you insert the usb dongle to the computer, re-code, P key will stop flashing.
@@WillsLocalLawnCare My keyboard is connected to the device through USB wireless dongle but still the P is flashing without any specified intervals and no its not the connect your device flashing its just random flash like in the video
It definitely has something to do with bluetooth when i connected it via bluetooth, it stops blinking. Dont know how to get it back to use with a cable but its alright for now.
