Nice job man, did you have to do much tuning to the suspension apart from winding the shock adjusters down. To keep the car running nice & straight, seen so many of these AK917 difficult to keep them running straight where they keep spinning out under power.
Thanks brother.. To tell you the truth not much needed.. stiffen the suspension front and rear. dropped her down up front with the droop screws. I made a front splitter out of lexan to help the front portion of the body to flex when down force does its thing, prevents the body from scrapping and rubbing away speed. Winglets seem to help stabilize at higher speed. Rake is also important. She didn't flip on me once and i made 6 passes starting at 78 up to 93.. Running 40/63 so didn't have any more options. But she is a hand full.. Get a Tx Rx that you can adjust/ limit steering.. it helps alot.
@@melvinvega1964 Thanks for the reply, when you say rake. Is that lowering the front of the chassis so it is lower than the rear of the chassis. Good luck when you gear up to the 52t spur.
No classes that i know of.. just testing stock components and having fun. Got the car a few days ago... not much time to go full blast unless they move the dates.
