- Compatible with OEM shifter assemblies only. Not compatible with aftermarket short shifters.
- Compatible with all Likewise shifters and extensions.
- Will require regular grease application as part of normal maintenance.
- While all efforts have been made, you may experience an increase in noise and vibration.
TOOLS REQUIRED:
2 x Micro flathead screwdrivers
DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1.
Remove OEM shifter by pulling up with one swift motion. Remove OEM reverse lockout spring.
Step 2.
Remove OEM shift boot by pulling up with one swift motion.
Step 3.
Remove rubber ring.
Step 4.
Seperate black OEM reverse lockout base from the shift boot assembly via the two black clips.
Step 5.
Slide two micro flathead screwdrivers underneath the black clips. This will unlock the silver OEM reverse lockout. Once the clips are unlocked, remove the OEM reverse lockout from inside the shift boot.
Step 6.
Install RLX lockout into the OEM shift boot. Ensure the keyway on the RLX matches the keyway inside the shift boot.
Step 7.
Invert the shift boot and clip in RLX base. Ensure the keyway on the RLX base matches the keyway inside the shift boot.
Step 8.
Install RLX handle using the supplied hex screws. Do not over tighten screws.
Step 9.
Remove old grease from the shifter assembly arm.
Step 10.
Apply the supplied grease to shifter assembly arm and lower keyway.
Step 11.
Slide RLX and shift boot over shifter assembly arm.
Step 12.
Install supplied RLX spring.
Step 13.
Install RLX Clamp Adapter and tighten all screws evenly. Do not over tighten screws.
Step 14.
Install Likewise shifter and check the reverse lockout functions correctly. Adjust shifter logo orientation and RLX lever height as neccessary. Enjoy!
